Investing on ICO is still promising especially if that ICO is a success, ICOs token is also good investment for long terms goals, it can make your investment double or even multiple times.
Indeed, rather than joined in the airdrop and investing in ico will be more promising, i've invested on the confide around 10k and this time my investment worth over 10x from my early amount. that's amazing. A lot of the people are not interested again in the airdrop coin or token. ico still become the best way after invest in the bitcoin.

The problem of many people is that when they can't succeed with any projects, they will say most ICOs are scams. The important is that they have to learn how to invest in the right project instead of saying bullshit.

investing in ICOs still promising if you look carefully at team, project and roadmap!
another smart strategy is investing once ICO hit exchanges because many people are dumping their coins!
The only problem with that strategy is that is only true for coins that do not have a lot of support, for all the other projects that have huge support the opposite is true, you will see that after a coin like that hits the exchanges it has a tendency to go up in value many times the ico price.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money. Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?
I am still investing to many ICO. I am still not yet experienced scam when investing in ICO. I always researching to the project before I will make investment. Knowledge about the project is very important for us to know whether the project is promising or not. It's good that you did not get on scammers, because now there really are a lot of them. What criteria do you use when choosing ICO, if not secret?

But all of these indicators were very important to be learned before try to invest in the ico. Ico for the long-term investment and not only to flip your money. That's an important massage that a lot of people are forgetting it right now.

ICO is profitable if the project team and the project itself is sustainable. When you find a project like that look at the long term profit rather than quick money making from it.

am an investor but I didn't buy coins from ICOs but I just hold my tokens that I received after Bounty Campaign in the forum. I do believe their existence and support. So, I'm looking forward for the success of all the ICOs I've been joined during their campaign. And most of them are promising too. If I got lucky, My investments will have a good profit someday.

Seriously, even if it was still profitable i wouldn't invest at all. Nowadays, scams are so advanced and so elaborated that its very difficult to spot a scam when there is one ! Earlier this year, i invested one bitcoin in the INTcoin ICO ( who remember ?), now the website is down, and we will probably never hear of this coin again...
For me, the lesson is learned, i'll never invest into scammy ICOs again.
Sometimes the gains are just not worth the risk at all.

I believe if the group is solid, the product is one thing I can tell which is clearly not only a concept, then it's really worth seriously considering.
Yes, I think that is is still worth it. I have my eyes on one particular ico of Amor (amorcoin.org) which I think can moor.

Check this out : Pundi X https://pundix.com/They will enable everyone to buy and sell cryptocurrencies everywhere (minimarts, restaurants, cafe, etc) They got Mr Lon Wong (President of NEM) and David Lee Kuo Chuen(Professor of Quantitative Finance. ZCash, Qtum, TenX, InfoCorp and OmiseGo investor) as their Angel Investor. And great advisors such as Miko Matsumura (Pantera Capital, Evercoin) and David Ben Kay (Former founding member of Ethereum Foundation) Reached Pre ICO target 14,000 ETH and ICO will starts on Nov 20. Dont miss the shot And even Ryan Lye (Founder of Cryptogrinders) is doing an interview with Wealth Research Group. Pundi X was mentioned as the only ICO to look out for. Here is the link : https://youtu.be/Hf4G9YgATyIThis is quite interesting, are you able to link also the bitcointalk thread, if there is any?

Yes there are some ICO's that are good depending on many factors. But you need to be cautious of Scams! I would say trade.io is the most promising ICO right now! trade.io is an innovative new blockchain trading platform that will disrupt the financial ecosystem and democratize the markets. I like their video and how it explains how this platform works! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQgDI4_nRhgSuch a clear explanation of their vision and ultimate mission! Good investment IMO

For some successful ICOs and have a different project is mostly promising, regardless of that is depending on how you choose the place of investment, because sometimes there is an ICO that fails even a scam, but because of the new ICO every time, I myself experience a decrease in profits in ICO investing, and then I think it's still promising.

For me, investing in ICO is still promising. I experienced to invest my money in ICO and I found out that ICO is really profitable. You should overcome to your fear when you are investing. You can make more money if you are brave person.

Like you I didn't pay too much attention investing in ICO, I'm just also holding tokens that came from bounty campaign that I've joined but my strategy is if that campaign became successful without too much hype I'll definitely hold it form long term because of its potential while I easily dump my tokens if the campaign didn't succeed. Not being judgemental but I just wanna be cautious for not to hold shitcoins.
