I am a professional developper using my rare out-of-office-time to write a EA for MtGox

At the moment i just record all the ticker data from the mtgox websocket api to have enough historical data
for backtesting different strategies.

Trade API, database and GUI are already finished-

Planed to release first beta version in about 30 days.
Testers are welcome, write me some lines.

I have my new website up  Bitcoinproducts4sale.com    for exactly this reaason, to help get every seller and buyer linked to one website so that people can easily find shops, sellers, businesses, services etc for sale for bitcoins and provide a feedback system so buyers can trust the sellers.  Would love to get some more help with the site, and anyone that wants to get there own page, or get added to it, shoot me an email or pm.  We need to stimulate the bitcoin community

Don't want to put details of the site's plans/business models on here until I have found someone I can trust with details. Feel free to message/email me and we can talk privately about options. Can not pay but will split profits which I am confident will be there. I will need to have some faith that the person I give the job to will be trustworthy and capable of the job. Looking for a true rockstar! Please get a hold of me and we can go from there. Thanks for reading!

Intriguing.  Like others, not willing to share the details of our project JUST yet but let's say it's a unique take on pool mining.

Personally I've got deep experience in software development, specifically web software and high performance algorithms.  Bitcoin is a great place to exercise those skills.

For now intending to do this only as a hobby but we'll see where it goes.

While I'm not sure if you would include me as a "business owner", I do plan to use this forum to advertise my freelance service.

For the past few years I have had a side-job as a private researcher. Doing everything from helping students find sources for their university papers to finding collectors items for rich people who do not want to invest the hours looking.

I plan to charge a fair hourly rate, and I will be contactable by the forum, a phone number, or any instant messaging protocol. I prefer real-time communications, but I also work well with email.

Working on two different things at the moment:

Working on a online bitcoin magizine based off of popular magizines like the New Yorker and Economist. It will be digital and most likely a monthly deal. Also, there will be a website for web-based news. There doesn't seem to be any real direct site for bitcoin market statistics and trends.

&

Working on a automated trading application that can use public API's to trade BTC. At this point there will be a cloud app and mobile app for android.

Cheers

I am in the process of starting production of a small, useful consumer product - I wouldn't mind taking bitcoins as currency provided the sales to anyone in my home state of NY have a swift way to put a solid sales tax figure on it.  Yeah, statist perhaps, but I think it would be within the law which is what I need to stick to like that Solar dude from the UK.

http://www.empowerustools.com is my website.

State your company, project in addition to what you wish to do on the forums. We will get you whitelisted promptly.

My colleagues and I are considering the implementation of a powerful mining rig for the purpose of selling mining contracts.  We are starting small, and testing the feasiblity of the idea as hardware costs and network difficult changes.

We are a small group of engineers and software developers that are also hoping to improve the quality of the existing BTC tools.  Access to the forums will help us with these endeavours.

EDIT: The result was failure. Sad

I am not a newbie, but I setup a new account to provide better identification with the service.

The initial beta release of BitcoinLocator will be going live in only a few hours.  We'll wait until I'm out of the Newbie area so I can announce it wide.  So here I am making posts, and burning time to get full access.

Watch out for the upcoming announcement.
