With the help of forum user osmosis, I hope to create a bitcoin-funded animation to promote bitcoin (and BTC-friendly sponsor businesses, in the end credits). It will resemble this one that I made recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTYkdEU_B4o

Building a new exchange -- http://www.intbx.com International Bitcoin Exchange -- with as most prominent feature an options market. The exchange is in its final stage of internal testing, and we're looking to do public beta testing soon.

We'd like to start an announcement / feedback thread.

I'm a developer. I've built a little web-app for monitoring the bitcoin markets on a smartphone. I made it for my own personal use but if others use it I may add features and get a real domain/webhost. It's here:

Good Morning!

Shire Silver sells what we believe are the world's smallest denomination physical precious metal trading cards. The size of credit cards, they contain the actual gold or silver embedded inside. Our 20th of a gram gold cards and half gram silver cards make everyday trade easy. Better than traditional bullion, our cards fit neatly in your standard wallet.

I got on this site to promote the business as well as to discuss it, bitcoins, and alternative currencies in general.

Just last week we added the ability to accept bitcoins in our online store. So far it is working well.

Check out images of the cards on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.147145688640877.23094.147137815308331&type=3

Shire Silver, a better bullion that fits in your wallet. Get some, now accepting bitcoin!

Hello -- I'm a web developer and my main reason for joining up here is that I was hoping to talk with some other developers about coding a Bitcoin escrow service. Looks like this is the appropriate place for newcomers to ask for help Smiley

I sell starter cultures to make kefir at http://simplykefir.com (A cultured milk beverage similar to yogurt) and would like to offer BTC as a payment method. This account was created to post in the marketplace and stay up to date with bitcoin developments. I've mined and traded bitcoins for over a year now so I have an interest in the success of bitcoin. I would like to add my product to the list of things you can buy with bitcoins to help increase the functionality of bitcoins (in a small way).

Please join and play bitcoin lottery at http://www.btcgiffin.com
We have 2 types of lottery games
1. Bitcoin bomb lottery is a weekly draw lottery type with 0.2 btc as constant bet which is the minimum bet.
Here are the rules for the bomb lottery which you can also see on our site:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bitcoin bomb lottery is a weekly draw lottery type. Every weeks one random lucky player will win. The winner gets 80% of all players bets. If the number of players is less than 7, the rules are the same as for heptagon type lottery
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Bitcoin Heptagon Lottery has a bet range between 0.005 and 10 btc. The winner is calculated 30 min after the first confirmation of the transaction; payout is once in 24 hours.
Here are rules for this one [This one gives the best chance to win among bitcoin lotteries on the market Smiley ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bank rolls a 7 side dice and the player does the same. If the player gets the same number as the bank the player will get 5 times his/her bet, whichever is the largest.

I've been thinking about setting up a pool of elite miners based upon the use of a little program a great script writer gave me called pristine miner.

Its under ground and highly experimental but the results i have seen so far have bee fantastic.

I currently work in IT so i like to keep my face off the airwaves if you know what i mean but I really think the bitcoin is a great concept and would love to see more of it!

Super cool poster above me!

I'm looking hearing more about business developers accepting bitcoins as a form of currency.

Another poster in a different topic mentioned that people using bitcoins as an active form of currency helps fuel the economy and increase all of our profits.

This so true! Cheesy

Hi,

My college friends and me want to start the business by mining, as well as bitcoin trading. We will start by purchasing rigs and then start the trading business. We would like to get off the list ASAP, thank you.

Hello,

Hoping you can help in this thread!

I don't have a business name yet, but I'm working on starting a new pool with new anti-hopping measures and a bonus payout system not used by any other pools yet! I am also planning a discounted marketplace to buy mining equipment for pool members that will be added down the road...

Hope you can get me out of noob status  Wink

Thanks!

I represent Enterpoint who manufactures a wide range of FPGA boards for a very wide range of traditional markets. However we get a large number of enquiries from Bitcoin miners and we here to answer any reasonable questions and queries on what we can do. We also want to highlight standard products that have been customised to fit Bitcoin mining requirements or even products we have specifically designed for the Bitcoin market.
