Not sure how relevant, but-t-t-t...

As for new business, currently considering one or more of the following...
1.  Providing strategic project planning via Skype or email - with first project design review session FREE.  With lots of experience doing new project design around the world want to assist others to design a new project, or business, by taking into consideration all key strategic design factors allowing an 'unflappable' design, especially if new, unique or unusual.  This matter with new ideas.
2.  Any one who has ever used logical framework methodology would appreciate this offer, I hope.
3.  It is a fact, but any company that includes full strategic planning considerations has 4 times the average company in the same field or AREA, based on Malcolm Baldridge methodology that uses these ideas.
4.  Interested in providing medical nutrition services, with metrics or progress analysis.  Will include how to actually save money after no longer needing health insurance, various cosmetics and savings from food NOT eater once your digestive and immune system has recovered and having the munchies, eating boxed, processed and fast foods literally ceases to be of interest to you!

Anyway, none of these are bitcoin specific, nor are they only do-able with bitcoin.  However, LIKE gold and silver, serves as a way to price products and services, in a money whose overall and long term value sets the value and not a fiat currency that is being devalued through inflation, causing the provider problems in realistic pricing policy.

Maybe that is a service to provide: how to keep a separate set of books in Bitcoin, gold or silver to avoid currency deception, possibly bankruptcy by valuating your business in a money that has real value and not only 'paper' or fiat value.

Anyway,
Wulirider

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Hi,

I'm a photographer and printmaker selling prints for Bitcoin on my website. I specialise in landscape photography and traditional hand-pulled prints. As for my intentions on the forum, I'm just interested in Bitcoin in general, I don't have a specific purpose.

You can see my prints, and purchase some if you're in the mood to spruce up your favourite wall, at store.emorydunn.com

I am interested in bringing my background of trading, portfolio management, research, and consulting to bitcoin. I successfully developed a water index for listing on a commodity exchange. I also have a technical background, and I am highly interested in business ideas. Let me know if anyone has any interest in doing something.

I've already posted a thread but I didn't notice this post so I'll post here too!

We are the first Geocaching store to accept bitcoins! We are www.Geo-Box.co.ukand we sell supplies and equipment for the fastest growing outdoor/technical hybrid hobby on Earth! If you are geeky and into your hiking and treasure hunting I suggest you check out Geocaching as it will probably be just for you.
We are based in the UK and offer free shipping on Geocaching supplies, equipment and containers. If you check out the site we have a promotion on for people paying with Bitcoins as we really want to encourage people to pay with this currency.

Hoping to be whitelisted so I can join in discussion on the speculation and economics side of this forum too. Thanks!

I am a developer who is working on some exciting stuff focused on bitcoin. For now I have started out with a simple brain wallet type application for android phones called Simple Wallet which you can download for free on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neopangea.simplewallet

Simple wallet allows you to remember a pattern combination in order to get your bitcoin address and private key, these are not stored in the app anywhere and the app does not need or use an internet connection to run. I also offer custom versions of the app if you don't want to have the public one (Or even if you want it branded differently)

I am really excited to get my other developments live and think that the community will benefit tremendously once I "go live"

I'm extremely interested in banking and bitcoins as a reserve currency in the US. Is there anyone working on a BTC banking project in the NorthEast? I'd love to connect.

What are some thoughts on produce?

I'm not talking about co-op co-grow stuff or urban farming. I'm talking about large scale produce and goods that are easily bought with any currency, but will be in high demand no matter what.

What are some thoughts?

There's a reddit group http://reddit.com/r/jobs4bitcoins - might help you find someone to work with on the project.

Hi guys, I have a few ideas for a bitcoin business, and I have a website to sell my music that is 80% complete and just requires bitcoin integration...are there any programmers that would be interested in teaming up with me on a profit return basis over time?

Here is a sample of my music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aycGGgYde48

and here is the website in its current form. (i have a domain for it but it is still to be transferred)

Hello,

We are starting a crowdfunding service called CoinFunder.com.  The website will be released to the general public very shortly - our development team is doing some final testing as we speak.

We started CoinFunder.com because we felt this type of service was needed within the Bitcoin community, and it doesn't look like there are many businesses offering this model at the current time.  We ran across several older threads where websites were mentioned, but none of them seemed to be active.

Our goal is to primarily focus on Bitcoin related projects in the beginning, and then branch out over time.  At go-live, we will only be offering the "donation model" crowdfunding approach.  Projects will specify a funding goal at the beginning of the process, once the project reaches that goal collected funds will be dispersed.  If the project does not meet the funding goal, collected funds will be refunded.

Stay Tuned - More To Come!

Best Regards,
The CoinFunder Team

I'm working on a new Anonymous VPN service that is Bitcoin driven.

I'm still in the testing phase and may need to work out some kinks, but prices are reflective Smiley (5 cents a day).

Currently the system supports L2TP/IPSec but I will have SSTP up soon as well. No logging and no data retention!

Give it a shot! www.bcvpn.net
