Thank you for the opportunity to get whitelisted quickly. I'll opt the old fashion way--putting in my hours reading and posting(s). I do want to share an idea, though. If any trusted member would like to accept donations for a cause, I have one that would only require collecting $75. It is this one: http://www.sturgismotorcyclerally.com/info-guide/brick-project.phpFull disclosure: I'm not affiliate with that site, but am plugging my Brother-in-Law (name withheld). I'll tell you why I was there in a sec. The site has a rotating banner ad and this one caught my eye so I waited till it came back around (just thought about Alice's Restaurant for a second there) and clicked it. After reading the article, I said to myself, "Self. That would make a nice post on the Bitcoin Forum." Hence this posting. <Shameless Commerce> (apologies to Car Talk's Click and Clack) Alert: The reason for being at the site is I wanted to see what date it started this year. Also, to get design ideas for my B-I-L to help design the Google Doodle to represent the 71st anniversary of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. My B-I-L is an artist and, moreover, hand tools leather seats the old school way. He tooled three seats for Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, two of which are in his museum(s). Also, he's been featured in over a dozen magazines. </Shameless Commerce> So, I'm hoping there's a bitcoin user here on this forum who rides and would love to see a brick with Bitcoin.org placed on Main Street in Sturgis, SD, step up to the plate and make this happen. I, for one, would donate .25 BTC. At that rate, you'll/we'll only need 348 more donations (provide you donate same) to reach the goal. Maybe the above idea is just a brain fart, but at least I eat healthy.

I'm a student looking to develop implementations of some of the non-standard transactions discussed here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Contracts. First though, I have a few questions about how transactions work in BTC. I've tried bitcoin.stackexchange, but it doesn't seem too active!

Hello, I am the owner of www.blockbet.net which is an up-and-coming online sports betting site that operates only using Bitcoin. We've been working really hard on the site these past few weeks and while there's still a lot of work to be done, I'm happy to say that betting works as intended and while the interface isn't anything fancy, it should be very simple to use. We update our selections and odds many times per day, as well as handle payouts. We don't ask our customers to register, and we're not interested in holding on to their bitcoins. You make a bet using the (hopefully) easy to understand form, pay your bet with bitcoins, and if your bet wins you get paid directly to your (or any) Bitcoin wallet. I believe that our betting odds are quite fair in comparison to many other sportsbooks around the Internet and competition can only be good for the industry. At the moment we have NBA, NFL, KHL games and European football leagues. NHL games will be featured as soon as the season finally starts. I know there's a lot of suspicion towards new Bitcoin businesses, so people feel free to start betting at 0.001 BTC to see how it works and never bet any more than you can afford to. I hope you guys take a moment to have a look around the site, and would definitely love to hear your feedback through the Contact Us form or this forum. Personally I feel that I know enough about Bitcoin and I'm really itching to leave the Newbie section behind and get my hands on your Gambling forum Thank you for your time, -Paul ps. Ravens vs Broncos, as well as Clippers vs Magic, starting in a few hours

Hello Bitcoin Fans! CoinThink.com is a new Bitcoin market analysis site that I develop and maintain. The current focus is arbitrage and it currently monitors mtgox, bitstamp, and btc-e. CoinThink gives a complete picture of arbitrage. Its easy to show one market's ask as 5 cents lower than another market's bid but that number alone is meaningless. Cointhink's calculation includes the number of coins for sale and limits that amount by how much can be absorbed by buyers. Also looking at the top bid and the top ask price is not enough. Cointhink looks at all asks that have a bid (on another exchange) at a higher price. The result is a total dollar amount available for arbitrage. https://www.cointhink.com
The exchange data is refreshed on a relatively slow rate, once every ten minutes, but care is taken to make all exchange API calls at the exact same moment to make accurate inter-market comparisons. The site will advance over time with more analysis and more features. Thank you, donpdonp awesome! work there it'doing what i'm thinking now i have it all on one screen

BitcoinScratcher is a physical scratch ticket game which awards prizes in BTC. There are two scratch areas per ticket, one revealing the prize in Bitcoin and public QR code, the second the has the private key. With one scratch area showing, the ticket's Value is known, with both exposed the wallet can be moved. Each game is a limited edition series of tickets which has original artwork and is produced in full color on high quality card stock in our secure facility.
Some ticket series may be advertiser supported and used to promote a bitcoin business. Additional discount codes. Can be include to redeem on the sponsors site, or for the sponsors product or service.
Some tickets may have political, economic, or social messages in the zeitgeist of their timeto spur conversation and comprehension of bitcoin.
Some ticket series will have a narrow prize range (between .9-1.1 BTC) with excellent odds, while other games will have a much wider prize range (between .05-1000 BTC) for those adventurous sorts.
Socially this project creates the potential to share bitcoins to a wider audience, creates a conversation piece, provides a means of off line storage, and should be fun!
Thanks for reading, Morgan
