I am mainly on here to get into bitcoin mining.  It seems very interesting to me.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I don't think this thread works as advertised. I see a lot of people saying they're a merchant or dev who are under the required post count and still flagged 'newbie.' Can a mod correct me if I'm wrong?

I have setup a website which sells CD keys in exchange for Bitcoins, currently I do not have much stock but I will be expanding if enough interest is generated.

Prices will be kept as fair as possible and I hope people will enjoy using the site, currently they are not emailed after purchase and you can only pay using Mt.Gox, I will be changing this in the future!

The url is http://cdkey-hut.com/ and find us on twitter at https://twitter.com/cdkeyhut

I will also be looking into alternative currency's such as Litecoins but for now I will stick with Bitcoin

Thanks

I'm a software engineer with over ten years experience with payment processing in the healthcare industry. I'm currently considering between a few potential applications that hopefully prove beneficial to the community.

I would suggest it probably is a scam - he's offering free bitcoins but apparently only for his address
https://rbitco.in/articles/free

And the other site I get a warning error 'The site's security certificate is not trusted!'

I'm starting Bitlancr - a platform for freelancers based on Bitcoin. We won't touch your money - that means no % fees, and no legal qualms.

Got a landing page set up here, to gauge the initial interest:
http://signup.bitlancr.com

Keen to share more on the platform and get some feedback on the idea, once I'm out of the newbie zone!

Thanks!

Hi ,
I just noticed this thread after posting in the "Introduce Yourself" thread . I have a web hosting service that accepts bitcoin almost exclusively - although other more traditional methods should be coming online soon . winnhost.com . I wouldn't be surprised if I have some clients that already hang out here . Once I get whitelisted I will create a bitcointalk coupon code for member discounts  . Also in the not to distant future we will be offering MEGA Cloud Storage Vouchers for bitcoin as well .Cheers everyone  Grin

I have great marketing skills and a creative mind, I've already told everyone I can about bitcoin...Also I have some great ideas as far as customer service, account managing, and ease of access is concerned. When this starts taking off, the common man is going to need assistance with aquiring bitcoin. So my idea is to create a sort of account management firm where we would do all the trading...oh wait.. bitcoin ATM already happened Wink

Hola everyone,

I'm offering 3D printing services for BTC!  We're eventually thinking that the future would involve a 'distributed printing cloud', but right now we're just seeing who has interest and trying to print in small batches for our first customers.  more info:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/19ddvi/in_the_spirit_of_accelerando_im_looking_to_be/

Do contact me if you'd like something printed!   More information to follow, especially once I can post a thread about this in the proper forum (not this one, probably).

Take care,
-ED
