It's close to a wash for me (@ 1500 SIGT), but this one requires more faith - and I've switched back to ETH for now. I'll keep my eye on things though!

lol $125 for a miner

I released this miner 2 days after the launch of signatum. My first buyers made more than $30 per 1080ti card per day.

i'm thankful for your hard work, but you should make a lite version for a small miners with 1 - 2 cards for appropriate price. not everyone here has 11 cards per rig who easily can afford that hefty price imo.

well that is not how things work mate

I hate to be 'that guy' but technically ccminer is a GPL licensed source, i have no problem with sp selling compiled windows binaries but as part of the GPL license of which the ccminer code and it's upstream sources stipulate the any changes to the source tree should be made available as a whole

I wonder when Claymore will make his miner with fee... lol.

There's someone mining with the wrong algo and even though he gets banned and banned over again he tries it again after a few minutes..

Hopefully he understands it soon.. Smiley

It's no problem, he just uglifies the stats a bit

Just kept seeing the pool drop to 10% efficiency then back up to 99%.
Good to know it isn't a problem though.

Just out of curiosity, how is nomp module accepting shares if its created and submitted using a different algo? Or is the shares getting rejected constantly from that person?

Exactly, they're all rejected but inserted as "invalid share" into the database, thats what makes the efficiency of the pool drop (because there are lots of invalid shares in the DB).

When thinking about it, those shares maybe shouldn't be inserted into the DB at all because they're not paid either.. only valid shares are paid, so maybe it's a good idea to change that soon at my side..

moreover you could create a column in your share table to tag it as valid/invalid (boolean would do) and then filter the queries for efficiency to valid only so you can create a report on invalid shares still

Sounds right - only invalid shares due to stale job has to go to the DB to calculate the pool efficiency. No point bringing the stats down due to a client side error. Who would be running the miner without even looking at the output (with so many reds) Smiley

but what you are saying is sell your SIGT as soon as you can?
I didn't predict the peak well enough so I sold most of that for 730 sat or so, and then I've made some good Ke$h the next day BUT I guess no point selling it atm as the price is really low. Yesterday it was damn good. Twice the profitability HUSH ever had for mining. I even skipped me ZEC and ETH mining for the sake of HUSH and SIGT was even better. As for now I will HODL for the possible pump. There should be one as you say.

Hmmm. 280x rig with 15.12 drives doesn't work, just HW errors. 470 rig with 16.9.2 works fine. Maybe it's possible to fix miner somehow? Maybe some people can't mine because of the older drivers?

I'm running R9 270x with 17.6.2 drivers and I can't mine, only get HW errors, so its not the drivers causing the problem

I don't know what causes the problem. 280x and 370 rigs with 15.12 drives doesn't work and 470 rig with 16.9.2 works fine. Maybe this is card specific. I'd like to point my other miners to the pool  Grin

shame cant mine with 7950 and 280x  Embarrassed

I get only hardware errors with R9 280x Sad

im getting  18mh on my rx 470 8gb
15mh on my rx 470 4gb cards
and 4mh on my r9 280x card,
has anyone got any improvements i can do ?

Thanks for update!

Can we please do something with AMD miner? I cannot get my 280 and 370 cards to work and many others in this thread have the problems too...

I have only hw on r9 280x driver 16.9.1

can't get ANY share accepted on pools
sgminer / 7950.

Does the miner show any hash rate data?
it shows around 2.5-3mh (people with 1050ti get 10) with i=20 but like i said i tried different "i" ...  got absolutely nothing accepted. not a single coin. (not a single share accepted/rejected)
just wasted some time and electricity.
without "i" speed drops to less than 200 kilohashes  Grin anyway closed it.

You're probably getting constant hardware errors, I can't mine this coin either with r9 270x, there is something wrong with the miner

I tried on 3 pools. zero shares rejected / accepted on absolutely new coin with low network load - there is definitely problem in miner =/

are there any plans to fix the miner for the tahiti users?

Currently people with 7850/7870/7950/7970/270/270x/280/280x cant mine this coin

the miner only gives Hardware errors and cant get shares
so far i have not seen a single Tahiti user able to mine wich kinda sucks and seems unfair

why 280/290 amd all time shares invalid?

r9 280 and r9 290 invalid share all time.
solution?

Anyone optimized sgminer kernel for ATI ?

The official one is already pretty optimized. Has some issues with chips before Hawaii though.

I've tried to mine with my old 280x but it doesn't work. I saw the complaints in the thread, I hope this will be fixed soon, coin has got a lot of attention right now. I'd like to mine some during early stage...

yeah, tried it on a 270x and it hashes at approx 700khs, but no shares found.
But even if shares were found,well.. 700khs.. ? Cheesy

W0lf has some public kernels for cubehash, fugue, skein, don't know if it would make some speedup .

DEV! we want to mine aswel!

Currently people with 7850/7870/7950/7970/270/270x/280/280x/370/370x/380/380x cant mine this coin

any plans to fix the amd miner?

I agree with you. Really sad to see that no AMD devs help the project. Maybe somebody can fix ti soon?
