To me, sounds like a topic that deserves its own thread, which maybe not everyone would know the answers, and maybe a separate thread would not get too much participations, since actual existing mod/admins might not want to tell their back stories.

I went over your thread on the Service Announcements board and it doesn't appear that it's still in the developmental stages, so the moderator did the right thing to move it over there. I also checked the deleted announcement posts ^{[May 5 and today]} and all of them are basically the same content, so you're not allowed to do it in multiple boards ^{[local boards are an exception]}.

Can you point me to your rules. I do not really understand what is going on or if I am violating some code of this forum

You're very welcome. Somehow, I missed that part, but I understand why a moderator might not notice it as well. Rephrasing your description is probably the only way that it might help, but instead of creating a new thread with different content, I think it'd be better to just edit it ^{[edit button is in the upper right corner of your thread]} and then simply move it to the Project Development board ^{[you can find the Move Topic button in the lower left corner of your thread]}. While you're at it, you might also want to change the subject field to something like "CryptoExcel is looking for beta testers...". Best of luck

I can see your deleted post contain a generic introduction. That's why the post may have been reported and deleted by moderators.

If every new user started a thread like this, we'd end up missing the posts where people are actually asking for help about Bitcoin. It would be better if you could be more specific with your questions.

Hello, It's my first post here, I'll love to make new friends and share more ideas about cryptocurrency.
Though I've had some experiences about cryptocurrency on other platforms, before someone recommended this site to me.

Hello everyone. I had a reply deleted today in the "Umbrel vs Start9" thread.

I received the standard automated notification with no specific reason given. I'm not contesting the decision at all, i just want to understand what i got wrong so i don't repeat the mistake. Is there any way to know which guideline applies, or is a direct pm to the section moderators the better route?

Not sure if I understood what you meant, but aren't these bolded statements contradicting? After all, having freedom of speech is what allows you to engage in (preferably constructive) criticism.

This forum exists to provide a platform for the free (but ordered) exchange of ideas. If you have an idea to express, then it is probably possible to do it here as long as you follow the rules.

You are wrong. The forum is a privately owned enterprise that exists for orderly discussion/debate of topics and as such its operators can set whatever rules they want. One cannot have debate without opposing views. As long as one is civil about it and on-topic you'll be fine.
