Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
I think it would be impossible in my country. Firstly, my country's economy has not developed yet. Second, it takes a long time for people to adapt to it. Third, there is a need for a new direction of education that can be integrated.

There are several courses that teach about the blockchain technology. Also several projects have been made by the students to submit for their final thesis based on the technology. Even in several commerce lectures, students were taught about bitcoin and other digital currencies. Maybe in the upcoming days more college will start courses teaching about bitcoin and blockchain technology.

Honestly, some of my friends who are still on college currently doing some thesis about blockchain technology on which the main focus will be discussing bitcoin and how it works. I don't know why the panels accepted it but it seems that one of the panel member have an idea about it and wants to see how far this students goes.

Also have some talks recently to my known college professor and have a quiet idea about bitcoin. He told me that the reason he encountered bitcoin was because of price. During some time in his subject class, he was mentioning bitcoin to his students and to his surprise at least 3 of them knows it and even have much knowledge than him. We can really sees that bitcoin is having a much more popularity that even touched the age level of a college student.

I do think that it is possible to make bitcoin as a course in the future because we can see that bitcoin become more and more known around the world but there are some countries that still do not accept bitcoin and because of that its hard for bitcoin to be a legal course. There are still many circumstances of it before it becomes implemented but it is not impossible . If it ever happened it would be great and so that many people will know and learn about bitcoin.

Today many of the students in college are earning Bitcoin it is like a pocket money for them Bitcoin today is very popular in colleges

That is true. I have also seen many students, especially of tertiary level who are earning bitcoins and this is a great help in their expenditures. They won't feel any sort of economical burden on their shoulders. Moreover, they can save for their futures also. Bitcoins indeed is a savior.

No offensement to gamblers but I know college students who are fond of gambling online and that's because of bitcoin. We know gambling, it's so addicting. I just hope most of these students can handle their studies well even they are gambling or even they are into crypto. I also hope that if crypto will be introduced to college, they will also know how to control ones self in terms of the disadvantages of this thing.
But bitcoin is not guilty of that, that is a mistake many people make, you are blaming bitcoin for people that are gambling addicted, these people do not have the right tools to cope with reality, if they were not addicted to gambling they could be addicted to drugs or video games.

Bitcoin should not be blamed but at some point, I can say its exisence maybe. But no one can be blamed more than ourselves if we get addicted to gambling or even some other things. That's why I am really hoping that this idea "bitcoin in college" could bring less to no harm to students, but more on their benefits.

I definitely think it's starting to have an effect. I know a professor at my university who plans to teach a seminar on blockchain technology next year. People are starting to notice, especially in the larger computer science world.

You would be surprised how many "tech people" haven't even heard of Bitcoin, let alone have an idea of how it works. They might have heard the name from a news article somewhere but don't really know what it is. There's still a long way to go towards recognition.

Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
if I think it's good for the younger generation to know bitcoin, rather than playing useless games it's better to learn bitcoin as it is very useful for the future.
especially in your country a lot of people who develop technology, it's good especially if combined with bitcoin science would be so amazing

Bitcoin opens a lot of opportunity for college students because of the opportunity of earning bitcoins without sacrificing too much of your time for your studies. This is due to the time flexibility provided by the campaign signatures, for as long as you comply with all the rules stated therein. Another thing, teaching bitcoin to universities is an excellent idea for the development of it in order to maximize the knowledge and other potential uses of bitcoin and the block-chain technology.

It is a great opportunity for every students actually I have a friend who said that his teacher taught them in school about bitcoin especially how to trade to it, it has been part of their curriculum that is why he has been so interested and ask me how to start trading from that he's been into trading nowadays, educating your students really matters a lot.

until now in my country there is no discourse that the material about digital currency in this case is bitcoin to be included into the realm of college education
but in my opinion your perception is very true, it would be better if we direct our children in our country to spend their time on line on the internet for more positive than playing games or visiting xxx website on website

Yes, it's true that you can do all that you have said but how will get bitcoins to do that?
You will need real currency to get bitcoins.

It is actually a very smart thing because students can invest and save for their future and also pay college fees with the money they get that is how this all works and that is what i have been doing here for the last couple of months.

i think it will be good if bitcoin is teach in college because student can learn the basic of bitcoin and blockchain so if they are graduate, they can learn more about bitcoin. i think they will like bitcoin and blockchain because from bitcoin, they can learn about how to make money in internet and with bitcoin itself.
If in the school they will implement to add a course or subject that will discuss about bitcoin would be a big help to a college students. Yes they can learn more about bitcoin and they can gain knowledge about it. Somehow, as a whole this is a big impact to a students by having an awareness that they could earn money online.
