If we have a web wallet but with private key like counterwallet.
It will be ok?  Huh
Finally I tried to import the private key of a counterparty wallet in the blockchain.info wallet and it worked very well  Smiley

What are the pros and cons of bitcoin cash?

I really don't see any pros with bitcoin cash until they add a fix for malleability which I doubt they will do as jihan opposes it.

It won't have tx malleability fix, so no cool features like Lightning network on this alt anytime soon(if ever because Jihan opposes fixing malleability), thus this alt will start off with up to  56 transactions per second and BTc will support millions of transactions per second with wallets like this -
https://medium.com/@ACINQ/announcing-eclair-wallet-a8d8c136fc7e

and can someone tell us what could happen august 1st if minors didn't signal sigwit as they intended?

they will lose a lot of money with orphaned blocks if they don't run BIP91/148/141 compatible nodes

Where can we buy this coin?

The coin doesn't exist yet , so you technically cannot. stay away from buying futures. Wait till after aug 1st and trade on a better exchange like bitsquare . polo, or finex

The pros are 8x on chain scaling, which means actual utility. A malleability fix is planned on the next fork. Jihan does not and will not have control over BCC. That is pure FUD, like the majority of your posts on this subject.

YEAH, let's have 8MB block so that way only miners will run full nodes since it will be almost impossible for normal people run a full node in a normal dektop.
Let's give all the power and decentralization to miners cause they know what's best for the whole community

You need to respect such announcements. I will follow this thread. 20% of BTC value is huge, I'm really curious if it will have a good effect on BTC (added value as mentioned in this thread already)...

It's hard to say what the value will be after August 1st.  Some people may see it as "free BTC" and dump it when they figure out how to send it.

The pros are 8x on chain scaling, which means actual utility.

Instead of a pathetic 56 network transactions per second and waiting 10 min to 1 hour for a confirmation due to the Poisson process  , I will prefer millions of transactions per second and instant secure confirmations with the original Bitcoin

The pros are 8x on chain scaling, which means actual utility.

Link to Roadmap?

Nope. Bitcoin nodes must work in byzantine environments -

https://iancoleman.github.io/blocksize/#block-size=8

Down: 0.447
Up:    3.132

This will be too much for many regions around the world.

Additionally, 8MB blocks are going to need a ton of RAM for that UTXO set . 4MB of Ram isn't going to cut it

Additionally, mining centralization will be far worse due to block propagation latency.

there won't be enough demand for that many transactions for a long, long time so it's possible enough people might be enticed to join the chain and then realise this when it's too late.

Good point, we really don't know how quickly 8MB will get full. My guess is very quickly due to the fact that mining will be far more centralized with this chain so it will be easier for Bitmain to spam the blocks and fee snipe. Their capacity roadmap has a very aggressive position on HF larger blocks quickly so I expect them to do this. Additionally, miners and the users will want to create the appearance of popularity so they will insure to fill up the blocks with spam .

I don't think BCC will even exist, there isn't going to be enough mining power for it to work and even if it did people will dump it to hell.

One thing is certain both miners and users have now chosen segwit.

is this really a fork or it is just another altcoin?
can anyone here point out where to see the mining hash that support for this fork?

Read here: http://www.trustnodes.com/2017/07/23/btc-top-will-mine-bitcoin-cash-based-price

so,if the price of Bitcoin benefit more they will mine Bitcoin,if the price of bitcoincash benefit more then they will mine bitcoincash....wtf..a snake with double heads?

Miners are mining for business and they make business decisions, they will mine whatever is more profitable, or both if the sum makes more money than mining one side.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If VIABTC started trading on BCC, it means it will 100% comes so no need to create negativity.
