it doesn't exist yet so no. there are futures options on the chinese exchanges like okex and viabtc. i don't know how much possible relevance those prices will have when it's real.

BCC will exist once the first Bitcoin Cash block has been found. This can not be before 12:20 UTC time on August 1 but it could be hours or days later depending on how much hashing power there is.

Also how exactly do I use the Bitcoin ABC client to split the coins? I send a transaction with some flag and then another without the flag?

You just copy the wallet.dat file to your Bitcoin ABC data folder after the fork has happened and any transaction you will do will be only with your BCCs.

I can decide to keep the file then windows stops it running and needs extra steps to say you want to run it

Since im only wanting to transfer my bcc to kraken after ive moved my btc to a another wallet seems a waste to download the entire blockchain although im 2 thirds done now

Once a coin "breaks off" from another coin, it's value is free to be set or manipulated independent of the original coin.

So "no" (to your question), b/c these prices are "perceived" value (short-term, sometimes "in-the-emotion"). They have been set by individuals/bots/exchanges, which are then bought by other individuals/bots who are "willing" to pay that price.

But "yes" to your assessment toward total real market value (long-term, when hindsight is more 20/20). Because this UAHF will be in "direct" competition with the originating coin.

What they/we are actually getting can be a different story, which usually plays out in-time vs in-the-moment.

It's not too unlike some of these exchanges or ICOs we've see, with little -- if any -- history. Some of them make massive gains, only to disappear with people's money into a black hole of private, privileged vacations or unending "extended" stays in remote locations such as Caribbean Islands or even China (Big Vern). But trust me, that value -- that "money" -- came from somewhere. Whereas other exchanges or ICOs are (or show themselves to be) more legitimate.

Really dont like the BCC idea, but will look with interest, how quickly people will sell this free coins. Many people with BTC will move back to altcoins after hard fork and maybe we'll see a good rally.

in theory yes. Value cannot be generated from thin air. So the BCC value is likely to be deducted from its origin (BTC) - at least at the very first moments of its existence. After that markets take over.

What is the value of something what doesn't exist? 0,00 (BCH will only start to exist after 1.8. 12:20 when somebody mines there the first block)

After that the dump of the free BCH coins will start and the price what you will see after this first major dump will be the value of the BCH coin.

BTC value is independent of that or did any other new alt coin really affect BTC value? (maybe ETH a bit but that's no new coin and in majority ETH follows BTC and not vice-versa).

If you like you can just create your own coin and start with a copy of BTC chain with a free airdrop to all BTC holders - would be the same
