It will lose value very quickly. Just because of this coin, they returned to bitcon.

If everybody wants to sell and no one wants to buy, then you have a stagnant market is all. The actual value of BCC will then be zero due to no liquidity and everyone will be stuck with free dust.

maybe marketmakers (exchange itself via bots) will then do the job?

Probably, especially since the ask wall is probably not going to go down anywhere near 1 sat(BTC). How many people will have 50K BCC to place the minimum order at 1 sat on Bittrex for example?

I remember everyone saying ETC would be forgotten within a week, and many people including me dumped ECT, well I regret doing that. If only I ignored stupid trolls and FUDstars and keep my free ETC I'd be $100k better today. I nobody unless idiots are enjoying this senseless fork news dragging back and forth, time to get it over with.

etc was the original chain and they had a point.

you can't say the same for bitcoin cash.

still, it might be dumb to dump but it looks way more doomed to me. i'd get rid of a decent proportion now and sit back and wait.

I'm going to have to wait to redeem my BCC anyway. I'm not going to dick around at 6:20 am in the morning on a work day updating the firmware on my Trezor, and moving my meager 1.8 BCC to dump. I'm certainly not going to move my BTC to an exchange from my Trezor just so I can let the exchange handle the redemption for me. I may also decide to wait to let others vet this software and network for me. I'm sure if something goes wrong, it won't take long for the bitching and crying to commence.

On Segwit the precentage it's at 76% , approximately , and if they reach 80% the bifurcation it's not gonna happen sooo expect that the price will increase after 1 august.

Where are you getting your figures? Due to BIP91, the segwit signaling is now 100% on the current chain.

Yep and if any miner attempts to mine a non segwit block it will be orphaned effectively guaranteeing that it stays at 100% for the remainder of the lock in period.

They will let you redeem, but will probably wait and see before adding a market for trading.

At that time it is most appropriate to take their bbc at a cheap price

This is correct initiative and good decision taken by Bittrex to credit everyone's account 1:1 for their Bitcoins sitting in Bittrex wallets. Since there is no more previous issue I would prefer to let some portion of my holding at Bittrex to get through hassle free of all this transitional period. It is appreciated that you shared it here.

They are probably too busy trying to figure out how to get their ducks in row after the US government effectively shut down BTC-e. After all, they have  extremely weak KYC and AML practices.. AFAIK they aren't licensed to do business with US customers, either.

Not really an airdrop. It is a fork, a division, rather than an airdrop.

Yes, kind of like how a hydra reproduces. Except the two chains will always share the same blocks up until the split.
