Actually very reforming thought. But it's success is depanding to interest. If lots of people choose to use this, it will be huge, if less people choose to use this, it will be bad.
So team should make aggresive marketing and try to reach much more people. They started good, hope they will continue.
Very nice and inovative project i can say.
We understand this and hence our main goal is mass adoption through aggressive marketing targeted especially towards tourists and travelers. |

Well, the project seems really interesting. I did not even know there was already a wifi-sharing market. I think it could work even if the number of free wifi keeps increasing, some city even have a global wifi (Seoul in South Korea has free wifi all over the city, I tking there is other big cities with the same system). My only concern would have been about the security of our network, but if every information about the users that use it are recorded in the blockchain, that would be a bad idea from him ... But why is a new cryptocurrency necessary for this? Couldn't you just have created an app and use an already existing coin? Or was the coin necessary because you have to store encrypted data in the blockchain?

Just checked out your website and read the whitepaper. I think you've got a very solid idea! And with the right marketing and development it can blow up big! I do suggest changing the video demonstrating the app, i feel like it doesn't demonstrate the potential enough after reading your website and whitepaper. Best of luck!

Hey, we decided to create a new crypto currency for it in order to encourage adoption and also to raise the necessary funds for marketing and development purposes. There is an in-app distribution for the first 50,000 networks in order to get things started on the adoption side. |

You are right and we have a plan for that. Since our app aims to monetize WiFi sharing, the main aim is to market it aggressively to tourists and travelers. We intend to partner with travel agencies around the world who would promote our project to their clients. Another thing we intend to do is have WiC reloadable cards available at gas stations and retail convenience stores, so that people even without the know how of crypto currencies will be able to use our app without issues. Mass adoption is the main goal of the project. Also, WiC is the only accepted currency in our app and hence anyone wanting to use it will have to buy WiC first, naturally increasing its value. Hey, so our project basically rewards users for sharing WiFi networks. So, suppose you upload your office WiFi, you get 100 WiC reward for it and you also set a selling price for it in WiC. Suppose you set it at 50 WiC, now if someone wants to connect to that network he/she has to first pay you 50 WiC and then the app connects him/her to the network securely. Sounds like with the right team and plan, this might work. I know a few apps already played around with this concept. They were never properly incentive though. Reward system are always a good motivator for staying the course. If it's profitable, the user base will build itself.

Very interesting concept. If I share my wifi password, the users who bought the shared WIFI can access my local area network. Does WiC app provide any means to protect the shared WIFI or isolate the local area network users from the outsiders.

This is a unique project, unseen in crypto. Would WiC ever partner with Comcast (Xfinity), At&t or any other internet provider if it presented itself. I'm sure one of those big companies would jump in head first, especially if they can monetize from it. Has the team reached out to those providers or are they waiting for more exposure first?
