Interesting project which I already some time observe. Also the videos are helpful, so you can understand the project better. Wifi sharing has future and it will surely appeal to a large mass.
Thanks! Presale begins on August 15 - https://www.cryptowi.com/token-sale

Uhh, what about people (guests) who upload the passwords of Wifi connections without the owner's permission? Is that the intended use?

Hey, so the way the app is made anybody having the password of any WiFi can upload it. But we will have a point in our terms and conditions that anybody uploading a WiFi confirms that he is the owner of the WiFi or has express permission from the owner to upload it.

You said everyone will set their own price for sharing WiFi. So the price will be fixed and if market value will go up the price wont change automatically? The owner of the WiFi will have to monitor the prices and change it accordingly.

Assuming the ETH price is 300$, and the price of WiCoin at the start is 0.008$ you may get approximately 37500 coins. I dont know whether this is correct or not as the site displaying price in Dollars.

I dont know whether this is correct or not as the site displaying price in Dollars. The price for the tokens is in USD, starting at $0.008/WiC. When you fill the presale form you fill the amount you would like to contribute in USD. Suppose you choose to contribute $300 and the price per ETH is $300, you will pay 1 ETH and receive 37,500 WiCYou will receive WiC as per the formula: Your Contribution/WiC Rate which in the example above is 300/0.008 = 37,500 WiC Let me know if you would require further clarification

Yes the price will need to be updated by the uploader at first. Later we will introduce an update so that the owner could set the price in USD and it will be automatically displayed in the equivalent WiC.

Or do you think the market will find a " correct price" alone ?

More people will use it when everything is automatically done. This idea is just briljant! I'm an ultracyclist and when I'm out of Europe I always have to look for free WiFi for route changing or to make hotel reservations. With this system it will be much easier... at least when a lot of people are using this

I really like that I see changes are made and ideas and remarks of the former investors are included and worked out. The project has grown into adulthood and seeing how much attention it gets it looks so much more promising then it was before (and then it looked great already). Just another question as a small former investor, a little late I know, besides that the additional 5% is great, I understand it is a first come first serve presale but it would be nice to allow the former investors to be first in line on the WiC banquette. I understand that probably will be impossible so close to the presale. So in order to jump the hoops and register like everyone else what do we need to have ready to register? - email (same as used with last invest round for former investors) - ETH address to receive the tokens - amount willing to invest - anything else? 1) Use an ERC20 tokens compatible wallet like Myetherwallet, Mist, Parity, etc. For a full list of compatible wallets, please check: 2) Accepted modes of payment are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. 3) No Minimum Contribution 4) Presale runs from August 15 to August 31, 2017. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and the price per WiC will rise as the stages start getting sold out. 5) After you submit the form, you will receive a reply from us with the exact amount in the crypto currency of your choice and the payment address. 6) You will then have 24 hours to make the payment. 7) After we receive your payment, an email confirmation will be sent to you. Any tokens unsold after the Presale will be sold in the Token Sale hosted by Livecoin.net 9) Former investors will get a 5% bonus in the presale. (Just use the same email you used last time) That ^^^^ is pretty clear

To keep it fair for everyone it will be on a first come first serve basis And yes you just need: - email (same as used with last invest round for former investors) - ETH address to receive the tokens ( PLEASE DO NOT USE EXCHANGE OR POOL ADDRESSES, only ERC20 token compatible wallets like myetherwallet, mist, parity, etc.) - amount willing to invest - currency that will be used (BTC/ETH/LTC) Let me know if you need any more info Thanks!

The rating system will be pretty important since there will be quite some bad connections. I hope there will be auto elimination or at least harsh campaign against poor rated WiFi spots.

Yep agree that people will try to misused it and something like auto elimination based on poor rating sounds really cool.

Yep agree that people will try to misused it and something like auto elimination based on poor rating sounds really cool. It will depend entirely on the buyer to chose the WiFi provider he would like to pay according to his ratings. Maybe someone would want to take a chance with a low rated provider for offering a lower price. We do not plan to interfere in the free market and want to keep it open.
