It's look like pay $$ ( pay with WiC coin ) to buy a Wifi Password and reward for sharing Wifi password ? It's same like other normal app right now , But I think Idea is good , different is we pay/reward WiC coin , user won't get direct password because app direct secure connection , may I know App is getting ready for test or need to wait for token launch, will available for android and ios ?

Hey, yes the different part is that we have monetized WiFi sharing. The App is already developed and will be launched on both platforms.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

WiC is a daring concept.  People are not worried about just "sharing wifi/email/corporate password" but the real concern is implications that can arise due to the misuse of resources.  Sharing your WiFi is risk because you are sharing your router to an unknown person who may have all sort of intentions; from general browsing to news channels to monitoring your wifi camera and intruding Government systems.  If WiC's app can be a guardian against all these, this would become a great project.

Good point, there should be some security in place so that the person you are sharing your wifi with wont be able to access devices on your home network.

Hey,

Since our main aim is mass adoption, we have made it extremely easy and secure for the users. They don't need to worry about security concerns since if you have seen our app demo, you will realize that the end user does not have to do anything except click on a WiFi and buy it. The app does the rest and connects directly without exposing any details (including the password) to the end user. Also this is all encrypted and transmitted in a safe manner. Hence, users don't need to worry about anyone accessing their devices from the shared WiFi.

Also, there is no real incentive for anybody to use our app for wrong purposes as it would be better and easier for him to just use a free public WiFi rather than download our app, buy WiC, then find an available network, then hack our security and do something wrong.

Hope that clears any doubts.
Thanks!

Lol... that is very true, people can always use free WiFi, but I was mentioning the worst case scenario.

Yes we have tough security measures in place for the worst case scenario but like anything in the world there is always a little chance that it can be hacked. Even government agencies, elections, government websites and everything else has been hacked at one point in history so we cannot say it is impossible but it is highly unlikely and unrewarding for anyone to waste resources to breaking in to our app security and do something that he could have done by going to a Starbucks!

Completely agree.  Like I said WiC is a daring (different than what we used to believe) concept like Uber or Facebook.  Wish you good luck.

That is not quite accurate because owners will upload their WiFi networks and they are the ones that will receive the payment!
