10 ETH is more interesting as an investment than holding 1btc for me. I believe, ETH will follow popularity of bitcoin. ETH is an altcoin  has bright prospects and supported by solid team of developers.

1btc is definitely for me, and it's over $3390. A fantastic figure for a cryptocurrency which i remember when btc ever dropped below $200. Its really remarkable bitcoin strength at the moment.

As being said above both coins would really be good but if you do only have the money to put on both things but if you do only need to choose then it would vary if you prefer short term or long term. If you are going on short then i would go on ETH because price movements and percentage would really be more higher compared on bitcoins movements and would really possibly give you profits on long term basis.

I would definitely choose 10 ETH because I think in future ETH will be more used, especially in large projects, even ETH can overcome Bitcoin if ETH market continues to grow strongly in time forthcoming

you better buy 10 eth rather then 1 btc, or you can get bunch of waves with $3000, eth potentially to $1000 and waves to $100 in my opinion, take your own risk

Bitcoin is the safer bet, but ETH has more upside. They'll both go up, but I think percentage-wise, ETH is likely to go up more.

I would say choosing bitcoin and much practical since over this days it might increase more than $5000+ and currently there is an ongoing update on it. But, if you choose Ethereum it might also increase may be not more than $500 this year, that's my speculation. WISE choice is BITCOIN!
ETH may be a good option if your goal is to obtain more bitcoin down the line, buy ETH and wait for the price to go up, it is likely that at some point the growth of ETH is higher than bitcoin meaning you can use your ETH to buy even more bitcoin in the future, this is what the whales keep doing to become even bigger whales, they invest in some other coins get their earnings and then get bitcoin once again.

BTC for sure. BTC is the titan of cryptocurrency and I don't see how it could be replaced. I am 99% sure that BTC will be worth more in 1 year then it is now. I am not sure if ETH will be worth more in 1 year from now.

So the best way is to buy 50% ETH and BTC 50%. Investing in 1 coin in my opinion that is a bad idea.
If you use $ 3000 for altcoin trade maybe you get double profit.

Mmm I think you should buy 70% bitcoin and 30% ETH. Or you can use 10% to diversify with some altcoins.

I don't think so . The Ethereal market is much more developed than Bitcoin, Bitcoin takes seven years to get $ 3500, while Ethereum takes just two years to reach $ 400. I think in the future ETH will dominate this market and Bitcoin will be the baby of ETH

Bitcoin is a much more solid option that ETH. Even though eth was pumped up really high this year, I just don't see the momentum and reliability behind it like I see behind bitcoin.

I think you should go through BTC rather than ETH.Because BTC seems to be very popular and valuable than ETH.And BTC is very popular crypto currency all over the world. So I should prefer BTC as ETH because of their value and popularity. At last it's your choice.
