10 ETH or 1 BTC?

We keep money in several coins.
We would advise buying HHEM, bitcoin, ethereum and different kinds of altcoins.
This will give a high level of income with a high level of security.

10 (or 3/0.75=4) ETH and half (or 3/15 = 0.2) BTC is good, but 0.1 BTC + 2 ETH is safer

Bitcoin now is going to be the main coin, so Ethereum have some perspectives, but won't become the biggest

With $3000 to invest, is there any advantages to either, with the expectations/hopes that they both will continue to grow?  Just trying to see what others would do, as I plan to let this initial investment sit for 5yrs minimum in a cold wallet.

Ethereum is a very good altcoin at this moment but Bitcoin is the main and the best cryptocurrency for all time till now and will be at the future I think. Most of the people trust and invest into bitcoin and get benefit from it. 1 bitcoins price is more than 10 or more ethereums price and bitcoin gives us the highest benefit than any other alts though it is more risky than ethereum so if you can take the risk and want more benefit and keep your money at long term then you can invest into bitcoin. Bitcoin has almost doubled its price a few days ago and it will be increase more so you have to take the right decision which is suitable for you.

For me both of this coins are good to invest for a long term profit. But bitcoin now is too expensive to buy and invest . Etherium is the best to buy at the moment because its value is not too high and it does not reach $1000. In a couple of years etherium will boom on its value and it can double or triple its profit. 1 bitcoin today is equavalent to almost 10x the etherium.

Cryptocoin is not a religion. Those etherium fanatics will see themselves disappointed over and over because other altcoins will ruin etherium.

Of course, I would choose a bitcoin, because at present a bitcoin is much higher than 10 Etherum. With 1 bitcoin you can spend a whole lot of money to buy 10 Etherum and the rest you can still buy other altcoins. Regardless of how good new altcoins are, the bitcoin position in the bitcoin market will not be a substitute.

If I were you I would invest in ETH because the price is still a lot lower than bitcoin and i think the flippening will happen soon maybe in 2018, ethereum will have a lots of new update...no more proof of work mining, faster transaction ...etc

Bitcoin is the main Crypto-Currency, the best one. Some people like to invest in ETH or diversify funds among different currencies, but I personally would prefer for now to put all my tickets in BTC. The price will probably increase a lot in few months (who knows, maybe 50%-100%), I'm not sure if ETH has the same potential... I don't think so.

1 BTC worth much more than 10 or even 100 ETH.

Ethereum is actually a good coin to invest with.
But comparing it to bitcoin, ofcourse I will go in BTC.
It has a higher price and an ability to grow faster.
While ethereum is a steady coin, that increase little by little.
So, if im going to choose I will go with the bitcoin and support it until the end.

Bitcoin is my favorite. I think Bitcoin is much better than ETH.And Bitcoin will be very expansive from 10 ETH.It will take as much time to increase the price of ETH, I do not think it will take that time to increase the price of Bitcoin.
