It is great project with huge potential to become big platform for crowdfunding campaigns. There is growing list of interested projects on there website and more and more will be joining later. It is really a best opportunity to invest in such platform because it is rare to see such interest in some other similar platform outside.

As far as I understood, projects CAN use Kickcoins but it's completely up to them if they do or not. What if the ICO projects (or most of them) don't want to use them? Maybe I'm wrong, but the less they are accepted by the projects the less they are valuable.

Well, based on the benefits they provide, i think most investors will be on KICKICO side.
So its up to them if they want an easier way to make their ICO success or not.
But since the human nature is want to get something as much as possible in a way that is as easy as possible, im sure you will know what will be their smart decision.

Hello, it seems that I missed the pre-ICO, which is much cheaper then ICO, I want to know how is going with the pre-ICO, how many tokens has been sold during the pre-ICO?

KICKICO collected 5k ETH during presale that was hard cap.

That is not too much, a good news for me since I think too many pre-ICO tokens will lead to hard to buy ICO tokens, so I will try to buy some ICO tokens on 29th August.

It's not too much, but KICKICO team did not want to sell so much coins with discounted price. That is why KICKICO team put hard cap of 5k ETH. If they want they can easily collect 20-30k ETH.

« In the future, we plan to register a non-profit foundation as a separate entity. This will be feasible when all necessary regulatory approvals are clarified, primarily the SEC and MAS. After that, the fund will be officially registered as a separate legal entity (fund), and management will be decentralized and transferred to the community, which annually elects its representatives - delegates.
Delegates will receive the right to manage the fund: transfer of "garbage" tokens into the reserve fund, improvement and strengthening of the fund's portfolio, and other organizational functions. Management will be carried out by voting, with a 51% consensus among the voters. »

In this case, will the token give dividends to the tokens oweners or the goal is just to increase KickICo fund ? Delegates will have rewards for their participation to the governance ?

Your OP said that included in your project is to motivates project authors to be successful in your platform and motivates participants to be active, i wonder, how you could do that? Are there any special programs that will attract them to be what you wanted them to be.

Whitepaper: If a campaign is canceled, all raised funds, since they are stored in a smart contract controlled by the KICKICO platform, are returned to the backers in their entirety.

That's effectively the same as with Kickstarter, creditcards are only charged after conclusion of the campaign.

However, the real trouble begins after the campaign has finished successfully! What if the creator fails to deliver the product and rewards? By that time the creator has likely already converted the pledged ETH to fiat.

With KICKICO a part of that risk is alleviated by KickCoins:

By making a pledge, a backer receives this award (either at the end of the campaign or, after the project is implemented), as well as the equivalent amount of KickCoins at the current exchange rate. Thus, the backer does not just give away their money, but exchanges it for the reward plus the KickCoins provided by KICKICO.

So if the creators do not deliver, KICKICO claims the backers haven't lost anything because they still have the KickCoins worth the same value.

But this system doesn't seem to add up. ETH goes into the system through backer pledges. The same amount of ETH leaves the system through the campaign creators, minus the 4% KICKICO fee. Then where does the value of the KickCoins, equivalent to the amount of ETH pledged, come from?

Korea is the place where many new ventures and tech projects start every day. Its literally one of the biggest market right now for cryptocurrencies. The strategic partnership will give a jump start for new upcoming ventures.

You're damn right! Korean market is huge and this will benifit this profect for sure.
Thats one great partnership  Wink

I was in telegram when one of the developer replied, they are in talk with mostly big exchanges but they won't name till ICO finish.

A nice marketing trick to get more investors  Wink
When the talking is complete and there is an okay, will it be announced? When you announce it, this ICO will be a succes.

Keep us updated Smiley

That's a really interesting question, I tilted on it while reading the whitepaper.

I think they are talking about be the reward system in crowdfunding, like you give 500$ to a project and you can can have a CD and a reduction once the product is done ... And they would give the equivalent of the reward in KickCoins.

But it's true that I don't really understand how it can work, because above in the whitepaper they say :

"For ICO campaigns, the platform fee will be 4% of collected ETH, and 4% of the campaign's tokens. In return, we provide from 4 to 8% of the KickCoins (in effect, selling our KickCoins to the campaign creator in exchange for the fee). Those KickCoins will be given to backers, together with the campaign tokens.

For crowdfunding campaigns, we give backers from 4% to 20% of the value of their investment as KickCoins, depending on their reputation on the site (Karma scores). This rate is being taken from exchanges, but will never be less than 0.0005 ETH per KickCoin.

This system ensures that in both ICOs and crowdfunding campaigns, the backer gets cryptocurrency for their contribution. We have two requirements for creators of crowdfunding campaigns that want us to provide KickCoins to their campaigns:"

Will you host also bounties etc...on your platform? One place to look at all (for example twitter) campaigns would boost kickico adoption even more

Yes, there will be bounty campaigns dashboard built inside the platform. So that you can start snd manage the bounty program there and keep track of all the activity
Hello dev, where will you get the revenue to give the backers some kickcoins as a double benefit? or maybe the right words are where did the kickcoins value you provided as the double benefit come from?

first, the platform takes 4% fee in the raised ETH and 4% of the projects' tokens and keep it in a separate fund. We plan on launching about 100 projects by the end of this year. Just imagine how the price of at least 10% of projects tokens might go up, so that the platform profit

second, wwe are building the ecosystem for the platform and projects will use KickCoins as a mean to exchange value and pay for services

third, many projects will accept KickCoins as a payment

Those 100 projects you plan on launching - is it an estimation from the market or have you already contacted - or been contacted by - the interested parts?

Interesting Drawing 1 000 000 KC! I think a few people invest more than 10 ETH, say 100 people, the chance is very big to get into the top ten. Roll Eyes
