How one can join beta testing stage? i need to contribute money ?or i just need to applie somewhere?

I think beta access will be given to ICO participants on the basis of their contribution.The bigger you contribute,the higher are your chances of getting beta access.
Though it will be beta platform but the products will be real

During the beta, there will be real products sent to the users, that's written in the whitepaper. But the beta will be launched at the beginning of 2018. It's not the demo.

Its a demo version, you can try the look and feel of the real SnapUp environment. I think the dev going to buy them from some giants with a good price. I think the working model is good and feasible.

Yes, By the way, the max number of participants for an Event is generally around 300 people to make sure the chances of being the assignee for the product stay high.

The winner will always pay a price between 10% to 20% of the retail price of the product he joined for, and the price he is willing to pay will be one of the factors that contributes to him being the assignee for the event
