For example my friend (may be after reading some misinterpretations) said "You see, they are friends of Putin, that why NEO ignores Ukraine in its expansion". As example he mentioned NEM, EOS who have a lot of incentives, meetups in Ukraine, but not NEO.

And in that letter head of russian blockchain center mentioned Putin because trying to cause more serious effect (so some russians Putin is like a god) but even though it was shared on a news I don't think it affected price, especially in market condition which is now.

It would be nice if true, but only time will tell (my gut tells me some kid made this all up). Actually it makes sense for Russia and other heavily sanctioned countries to load up on crypto.

and 10 billions is not much for crypto. If they invest such money - this can't affect to price much, but they can lost money as well (if BTC will go down more).

Are you kidding,  if it were true and 10B were put in the market it would move the market massively up. Don't confuse market cap with amount invested.

According to Malcolm Lerider, Senior R&D Manager at NEO - "Between NEO and Ontology is no competition. The projects are closely related, share resources, and complement each other."

Regarding the teams, in a Q&A session from August 2018, LI Jun, Founder of Ontology said:

"Ontology is developed and supported by Onchain, but NEO have their own team, so that means NEO is not developed by Onchain. Ontology and NEO have a technical cooperation, but Ontology/Onchain is a different team with NEO. Ontology is focused on building a platform to link with different business scenarios, legal systems, and enterprise solutions, and technically the implementation is different between Ontology and NEO. Ontology infrastructure is different; Ontology uses Go and NEO uses C#."

In my opinion there is no concern about some people (team members) leaving from one side to another since both NEO and Ontology have enough resources to hire more people.

neo has more icos and already established infrastructure,...but if they announce they got just 1 government ico by ont, ont id by example, could change neo vs ont by great margin, ,..lets say if neo is 500M, ont will be at 300M cap, i dont belive ONT can surpase neo anytime soon if ever, and its cool to have both of them
