The script doesn't benchmark ClaymoreETH dual on both NVIDIA and AMD on Mining Pool Hub. Can you look into it?

Try Beta3

I did, totally clean release with no changes at all. If I remove YIIMP from AutoStart Example - Two pools on Auto.bat and leave only MPH, the dual mining is not available.
There is something wrong with the dual mining parser on MPH.

does anyone else experience high cpu load in powershell in megaminer 4.8?

I looked at two rigs (both somewhat older CPU/mainboard) and powershell/consolehost ist using around 10-15% CPU all the time. system is win10x64.

I don't really care about the 15% cpu usage, but that keeps the CPU from sleeping and increases power usage by about 30W compared to the scripts not running.

Is there anything that can be done to reduce the load of the scripts? refresh, update intervals, removing/disabling non-essential stuff? Anyone messed with that yet?

thanks!

Feature request:  After X intervals automatically exit the script. "X" would be a setting in the Config.txt file. This would allow us to restart the script in a batch file. Thanks.

Why do you need restart script? It can run days without problems.

I've found the script hung a couple of times. I only found out when another script I have that monitors temps alerted me to low temps on the rig. I've got large pages enabled, 8GB ram, and 120GB SSD. I'm willing to help diagnose if there's a way to troubleshoot this. I'll save the log when it happens again.

5.0b1 works fine on my rig with 2x1070ti and 1x1070.

However on my rig with 1x1080ti and 1xvega64, 5.0b3 doesn't run the benchmarks. The miner windows open and insta-closes.

Also i'm getting this error:

Add-Member : Cannot add a member with the name "Name" because a member with that name already exists. To overwrite the
member anyway, add the Force parameter to your command.
At C:\Miners\Megaminer-5.0-beta3\Megaminer-5.0-beta3\Include.ps1:427 char:95

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MemberAlreadyExists,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.AddMemberCommand

i've deleted the folders, and tried beta 1,2 and 3 but none works.

Any tips on how to solve this? Thanks!

Fixed it, Used gpu=0 for both 1080ti and vega64

The config file would do all.

If you want a different coin for each pool you need to edit the pool file and not use the config.

Differents coins or diferent adresses of same coin?

I see some problems to this:

1. If scripts hungs autoreset will not work
2. More options for config...more difficult for noobs

I´m proud to present my new adquisition (Xfx 4gb), I hope this helps to test software and solve issues easier for me.  I never had amd card before and It´s funny for me open this world.

As I say sometimes, I´m doing this program for me, as a hobby on my free time, and to return comunity some for free mining software I get past months, but still I want to thank donators for help to mitigate profit lost for time my rigs are stopped testing or failed with new alpha releases.

Hey Tutulino,

latest beta release as of right now is defaulting to ahash pool no matter what pool is selected.

tried on 99 all pools but again it just shows profits screen for ahash and the miner is connecting to ahash too.

it was working fine up to the last commit yesterday.

so one of the commits today has chopped the other pools checking out.

Ill keep you posted if i find out where.

thanks again for the support.

this megaminer sure is getting better by the days.

Nevermind think you just fixed it with that commit you posted as i typed.

yep that sorted it.

Another small issue is :

on the dual mining getting :

NVIDIA Cards available: 1

temporary solution for others getting this problem just cut the virtual pool out of its folder and paste it in a different folder for now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nanopool on initial load up of all pools i get this error too doesnt effect anything mining wise. think its just looking for other coins that it doesnt support.
I have to force parameters into code for developments, if I forgot comment this code before upload this happens. It´s solved now, if happens again it is as easy as edit core.ps1 and comment first lines where is forced pool and mode.
Solved for next release dual mining for WTM pool
Need more info about Nanopool error, ¿what pool/s was your running?
Different coins, Like on zpool I use LTC as my payout coin, on Ahashpool I use BTC, On Hash Refinery I use AltCom.
I have modified the pools config file to make it work for now but would be nice to set say
if
@@CURRENCYAHash=BTC
use $CurrencyAhash
else use
$CURRENCY
or something like that
Nice purchase, it will be worth testing out against some of the extra AMD miners from here
I think easy way (without doing config.txt more complicated) is allow a parameter "currency" if this parameter is not passed, config.txt value is used, if passed parameter is used, this is not valid if you want to launch more than one pool at same time with different coins.
