why antpooll and viabtc mining btc now?
Why would they mine this shitty altcoin?

why there is no clear material on what changes to classic BTC have happaned?  everybodey wrights only about BCC
They intentionally obfuscated the changes that they've made to the codebase to make reviewing harder. This is shady at best.

Hi
I wanted to know if we can redeem bItcoin cash if you have physical casascius coins with private keys( eventhough BTC was retrieved long time ago) please let me know
Thanks
You'd have to peel it, but that would destroy the premium that the Cas. coin has on the market. Not worth it, and most certainly not worth doing it yet since you basically can't deposit BCH pretty much anywhere.

I peeled the coin for BTC 2 years ago but was wondering if I can redeem for bitcoin cash again
Thx

The fork happened yesterday. Only if there was BTC in that address at the moment of the fork, is there BCC in it.

You have spent the BTC long ago, so now whoever has those BTC, has got the BCC yesterday.

I've installed Electron wallet and can sweep my BTC/BCC addresses, but not import, it's not offered. I've already emptied the BTC addresses so no worries there, however sweeping means, as far as I can tell, that I can't control the fee. The fees look similar to BTC fees, not the promised very low fees. Anybody seeing the same thing ? I've not broadcast yet.

Guys I am in a really awkward situation.

Forks are a really new thing for me.
Everyone told me to take control of the coins before the fork, then, I sent all the BTCs on bittrex exchange to my android bitcoin wallet.
Now the exchange made all the work and I am with the trouble of claim the BCC tokens.
The backup of the bitcoin wallet is not compatible with the BCC wallet or I am not getting what need to be done.
Can someone help me please?

Private keys is the answer.

Where we can buy Bitcoin Cash?
Why would you buy this useless shitcoin, right before it gets dumped to the ground?

I peeled the coin for BTC 2 years ago but was wondering if I can redeem for bitcoin cash again
Taking that you've you peeled it that long ago, I assume that the funds have long ago been moved from the private key on the Cas. coin. Therefore, there should be no funds left on it. You can always, simply, query a BCH blockchain explorer.

What about encrypted wallets? All my wallets are encrypted and now I don't understand how can I claim my BCH from them?
What you don't understand is how Bitcoin works, nor what wallets are nor how they work.

As you know Electrum doesn't work with encrypted wallets and Electron Cash has the same problem...
Bitcoin Core wallet != Electrum wallet.

But I have the Private keys for the particular address, even though theBTC were redeemed, was wondering if BCC is still associated with that particular address
Is there a place where I can find it on blockchain?

That's completely irrelevant. You obviously do not understand how forks work. Try thinking of it as a "snapshot" of all existing balances yesterday around 2 PM UTC. If an address had BTC on it at the time, then you should have BCH on it. If it didn't have any BTC on it, then it won't have any BCH on it either.

More confirmations = more safety. The BCH chain will be susceptible to *easy* 51% attacks when the difficulty drops.

Any exchange accepting deposits yet ?
Seems Bittrex and Kraken not ready yet, and only trade BCH already in place.

so even six now is not secure? is this because of still the possibility of the fork up to the 10th of this month?

So if you left coins in bittrex instead of putting them in your core wallet   you could be trading them as i type.

i now have 8.07 coins in a core wallet  which means i have 8 + 8

or  8 x 2700 + 8 x 1000 but that 8000 is frozen  for a bit.

Thanks senior for the update but there is something I really don't understand concerning the forks and I do like to ask. Do we still have the real bitcoin, if yes which exchange or wallet still use it and is BCC/BCH an altcoin?

If a lot more people had left a lot more coins on exchanges, I would expect the price to be much lower.

At this point it's very possible that a few rich BCC proponents are buying everything on all the exchanges to pump their baby.

good god, no offense buddy, but you have no business being in crypto, I hope to hell you don't have any money you actually need in it

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Load up your Bitcoin Core wallet into Bitcoin Core. Move your coins to new addresses. Export the private keys of the addresses that previously held the coin. Import them into a BCH client. Done.

Do we still have the real bitcoin, if yes which exchange or wallet still use it and is BCC/BCH an altcoin?
Read before posting. There is no reason not to have "the real Bitcoin".

so can anyone explain what changed in BTC code?
Quite a lot. Apparently they based their code on Bitcoin Core 0.14.x but stripped out Segwit. However, they intentionally obfuscated the changes and if you compare the repositories you are going to see a lot of changed code. This makes it very hard to review what they did, thus I wouldn't trust their wallet(s).
