Despite of all the forks and fud's about bitcoin it has become evident for everyone of us that bitcoin has the ability to thrive and survive.
And this can be attributed to users and investors that supports bitcoin no matter what happens. And this unfaltering support will surely take bitcoin higher.

Here is a detailed step-by-step guide to how the events will unfold for Bitcoin (and the other cryptos) :

- Bitcoin will start dropping in value sharply
- Bitcoin promoters and investors will say that this has happened many times before
- In this forum especially all will be saying to buy because it is cheap, and many will say to hodl
- price drops further, and all promoters will keep saying we have seen this before and it is a good time to buy and hodl
- price drops further, and waiting transactions are now mounting rapidly because despite the cries of "hodl!" quite a few people want to get out. But the way Bitcoin works prevents all from exiting when they want to.
- The price to get your transactions through becomes very high, in reality meaning only people with large holdings of Bitcoin can afford to get out. And they do because they have in many cases bought at below 1000$ and therefore they want to take their profits.
- As it becomes clear price keeps declining and it is impossible to get out, the smaller investors start to panic. It is the same as being in a large building with many people and only one small fire exit when there is a fire
- Prices now decline to a level where the miners can only make money by charging very high prices for transactions
- The high prices for transactions and the low price of Bitcoin means that no smaller investors can now get out of Bitcoin
- The price stabilizes at a very low level and it is impossible for the small investors to get out as no miners can make money any more
- Nobody want to buy into Bitcoin because of the very high transaction fees
- Game over.

Its visibility in mainstream media and meteoric rise to its current price will ensure its dominance in the near future.

I can't see that many new investors running away from it just yet. Who knows though? In a year or two time, BCH or some other altcoin may take its place as the market leader.

Why do you want Bitcoin dying? There are several altcoins based on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is still here. There are several GNU/Linux based on Debian and Debian is still here rocking solid. And we are currently in a period quite volatile, I watched BCC it's just horrible lol. In the following weeks Bitcoin will show its true power and everyone will recognize it as the super power Grin
i think there is no reason that bitcoin will die, i am sure that bitcoin will remain as number one currency for ever. in fact bitcoin is becoming stronger from time to time.

True, its market charts throughout its history is a concrete evidence on how bitcoin steadily grows. If bitcoin is not meant to succeed then I don't think it would have been able to survive its early years as an online currency with an almost unknown identity and value.

Yes. it is true that bitcoin is the foundation and the pioneer of all the coins, it is the beginning of the cryptocurrency and it is already tested by times. As time goes by the bitcoin was kept in dominating among all the coin in terms of market value and popularity, as i see that many people around the world are benefited from it and in terms of security the cryptocurrency is design to be untouchable and very strong againts attacker, and with all this reason the bitcoin will keep on ticking and licking for more coming years to come.

I am also believers of bitcoin. That is correct bitcoin is guaranteed and tested in time. Although some are trying to attact bitcoin but bitcoin remains undefeated and continue to survive and won't last.

Yes of course it can even get to survive, Bitcoin can generate profits for anyone that wants to join, the more days the ever increasing price of bitcoin then it will result in huge profits for owners of the bitcoin, but There are indeed some people who are pro cons with bitcoin. There are several Altcoins based on bitcoin and still here bitcoin. And witness the BCC was terrible. But in the future will show the actual bitcoin and everyone will recognize it and joined in the bitcoin because bitcoin very has a great power actually

I think Bitcoin will not end as long as bitcoin is popular to the people, “It’s definitely had some impact on the market,”. From time to time investors and users attracted to this and soon on later it will reached those people whose not yet using it.

There is competition in the market, Even there is so many altcoins that has been released as of today, The value of bitcoins is still keep on increasing and it is the highest value above all that's why everyone is investing their money on it and in that way bitcoins will survive because of the consumers.

Bitcoin is not anyway dying so there's no need about talking about its survival. Bitcoin is here to stay and stay for a long time...
Bitcoin has been staying since it's started in 2009. I could say that every year, it's becoming stroger and popular. And now, its value increases, more people became more interested. Furthermore, I could see that Bitcoin has already built foundation that can keeps it to stay and survive.

Bitcoin survive at least in a form of blockchain technology and its enormous transaction and mining infrastructure. This couldn’t be lost. But more and more competitors will appear with a time.

Absolutely! They just implemented what is called segwit. A protocol designed to solve the scaling issues bitcoin currently faces. Bitcoin will be able to be treated more like a currency as opposed to its current state which is merely a storage of value. Kind of like Gold. Currently, it takes wayyy too long to approve transactions and you can’t really walk into a store and wait 8 hours for the clerk to say “okay, you’re good to go”.

Bitcoin has a bright future ahead!
