can someone explain me, why i should swap my xxxk+ mvt to mdt??? will this swap option be available as long as mdt is on the stage???
for example, i dont want to participate in mdt, but the price of mvt should be 1to1 linked to mdt, so i dont loose my capital invested / anything in the long run.

Hey Seele!Great Question! Swapping MVT for MDT - Participation in swap completely voluntary.
- Both tokens have value and function within the Movement DAO.
- When you hold MDT, you are a Voting Member of the DAO.
- MVT will continue to have a value assigned to it and that value will help grow the Movement.
There will always be 3,000,000 MVT, the amount of MDT is controlled by the DAO.The MVT exchanged for MDT is now controlled by the DAO. MDT holders control the DAO. Votes are created and executed by MDT holders. At the time of this post, 381,939.30318979 MVT have been swapped and .2 ETH donated, giving the DAO access to funds for further development, growth, staking, etc. Members are encouraged to bring Votes to the DAO and for these funds to be used. Community discussion is encouraged in all Movement communication channels. Multiple liquidity pools have been set up for both MVT and MDT to participate in. While at the moment we are accepting 1:1 swaps, I would assume the community will vote to change that down the road. |

Is there a good tutorial you can point to for a similar type of situation? I've never voted with a DAO. The learning curve seems kind of steep if done alone. Maybe a zoom meeting for doing this?

This is a great idea Paramind22! We have a couple of improvements on the table I think. The first will be creating a video tutorial for the voting mechanism. I can work on this tonight unless someone wants to. Second, weekly calls on discord or Zoom. As we organize, being in sync will become more important. Community task issuance could be done from these as well any outstanding issues that need to be addressed. If there are no objections, I'll start putting form to this. |

Also I love to see some good activity around the project lately. Keep up the good work! Yes it's official MCaffee's DEX but liquidity is still big issue of DEXes. If the more community will get involve into this project than it will increase the demand and will bring more exposue. I think active marketing team is the key of success and this project is missing this to jump again. But this is not a true dex. DEX is what gives u the ability to do peer to peer transactions. The mcafee site just gets u what is already available via uniswap. And similar platforms, SUSHI etc. Centralized lavatory where u exchange one token for another by simply sending ur funds to a collateral stowage they control, for which u get the token u aim to buy. Now how is this dex? |

What do you think we could do to energize the community? Maybe some promotion? Maybe a marketing campaign? A bounty campaign? Yes, two months and no activity on this thread. I do think we need to have some kind of centralized hub of activity that has no significant learning curve. How about a Discord thread with "airdrops" as many of them have these days.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone who stuck around is doing well. These are crazy times for sure. For the past couple of months, we've been working in the background on the next phase of development. I've created a nonprofit organization called Greenpoint Land Reserves and have assembled a team of professionals. This is a legal entity that works in the best interest of the DAO. We are registered in Wyoming USA and will be releasing more information soon. Essentially, we are creating the first of its kind, Crypto Land Preserve, and introducing the new Proof of ACRE. We are working on the staking contract that was funded Here. The staking contract and Proof of ACRE V1 feed of each other while locking up MVT, MDT, & ACRE. After V1 release, we will be purchasing land in the United States. Ownership of this land is transferred into the Land Trust and managed by Greenpoint. The land trust names the DAO as the benefactor. This essentially locks this land up in a trust controlled by The Movement. V2 will pay dividends from operations conducted by Greenpoint Land Reserves, Kinda like profit sharing on steroids, to holders of the ACRE Token. We plan on putting thousands of acres across the United States into this trust. Once that is done, it's on to the next country. Below is a rough draft of the direction. Two months seems like a lot of times. Communication plays a big role in the crypt world. Especially investors. So team members must be communicate with investors in mind. But it should also be kept in mind that they cannot communicate even if they have the desire to engage in various activities. |

Thank you and you're correct. MVT acts like a flow of value. Holding MDT gives voting rights on the direction. Both will be stake-able to earn. |
