It is obviously inconvenience for the player because his balance is on hold until the investigation is done.
I have never received any issue in Stake but I have to say that I'm not a big player like him and I'm not playing sports too much.

That is how I know it worked as well but I got confused about it for a while when people assumed they could get it somewhere else. It is only from the email you get and if you miss the email or mistakenly delete it or something then it is fully gone and you can't get it. That sounds a bit harsh considering it should be something you could get from the website and one mistake of email deleting shouldn't result with a loss but the amount is not a huge one so I doubt people really care about it.

I mean obviously we would want it, but if you delete or lose it then it wouldn't be life changing amount, plus we would just gamble with it anyway.

The similar cases can be found on alternative crypto casinos, the requirements by regulators push them to ask KYC from customers especially if the majority of users are from restricted areas. Eddie had clearly said on Saturday stream he will never froze account, the withdrawal mode will stay active since they don't have intentions to take winnings from Stake accounts. Hopefully Stake team will professionally handle such situations and you will get your funds back fully. Just my 2 cents.

Then, just contact to support and ask them to share the link claim to you or you can ask to the forum to share a link claim. The link claim is always same one for all, so you claimed a linked claim same like everyone. I don't really buy it a scenario email deleted ~XD deleted button email is really far away from the claim link button on your email. That's just your imaginary things, no one here get that case.
