Did you know they can afford to pay a streamer with millions of subs, I don't think the reason labor cost is not a problem. I just want to express the suggestion, If they keep changing the VIP host rank. Soon or later, only Diamond rank is for VIP Host ~XD.

Doesn't matter how much they're spending for weekly, promotions, monthly and others because most of the money will go to them again.

I do not just focus on one aspect of a business, I focus on all aspects of a business.. because I owned or managed a lot of them before. I know from experience that labor cost is one of the most expensive expenses that a business has.

I know Eddie once said in a stream session that their goal was to offer VIP hosts for all levels of players, but the cost are enormous. If you look at my previous posts in this thread, you would have noticed that I have questioned the amount of money being spend on marketing at Stake and the impact that it has on player experience. (In my opinion, too much money is spend on that and player experience is suffering as a result)

I'm trying to be neutral here, I am not fully agree with all the changes. Increasing the requirement is fine but removing some benefits from those who have reached the level before the change is not fair enough for the players. I am sure there are many players are disappointed with the change especially players ranked Platinum 3 and below. 

That's why a lot of people are disappointed about the new changes. Someone also offered them a Compansetion. I won't say that they should provide it. But at least to make everyone happy, They can at least give them the same benefits to those who have reached the level before. I don't think having a VIP host is important. I think getting the benefits are more important than having a VIP host. I am not a VIP member of Stake, So I don't know actually what VIP host does Especially. I guess as soon as they have 24/7 Live Support, It's enough. So, I think at least stake can keep the same benefits for old players. So, It could be a happy = Happy deal.

"Small changes" , soon plat 3 will lose reloads and host as well, just like plat 1 & 2.

I hope it wont happen as what I experienced with the first change when I do not lose the VIP host and reload after Stake made the first change.
Now I'm half way to plat 4, losing reloads and VIP host can be very disappointing because VIP host usually give free balance, and reloads also help players when they are out of funds.
However it would be much better if Stake inform their players about the actual reason why they need to make the changes.

I can understand that a lot of players are not happy with it, but I don't really think Stake cares. If they don't see a massive drop in their active users, they will never revert their decision.

Stake knows they've made users comfortable and get used to playing on their site so it's a bit difficult to move to another site this is a classic strategy  
I don't think this change will have much effect but the user's motivation will decrease to hunt for VIP levels they would never have imagined to hit VIP 4 especially new users
As for the users who are angry over this change are those who are at platinum 2-3.

Nothing really special but VIP host give you better experience than live support because we can communicate privately to talk about anything related to our account anytime anywhere without opening Stake website. VIP host also give you surprise bonus that you cant get without VIP host. Other advantage is that VIP host may remind you or offer you to activate reload when you forget about it. There was also special regular event in the Stake forum for VIP player and each VIP host manage his/her own team to compete with other team to win decent reward. I myself lost my VIP host long time ago but I do not really care about it.

Except the reload bonus which is worth fighting for hopefully  stake  consider this one because for us it's not easy to reach platinum 2 or 3 so reload  is worthy as an achievement reward.
