Nice to see Stake.com added sport events and MMA including UFC fights.
I would like to see more betting options for that UFC.
For example, there is only betting for winner and asian handicap.
Few more options would be great.

What we should not forget that stake started the sportsbook part of their website literally during this pandemic, I mean pandemic wasn't this big and wide and didn't create a scare just yet but it was at china and was started, it just got spread around more. So, the sportsbook could have some troubles and some shortcomings but we all know stake, we have been here from the start, hell we have been here since primedice obviously. So, let's just wait on the more markets thing.

However one thing that keeps upsetting me is the minimum gambling changes, I like that there is minimum, I shouldn't be able to gamble with 1 satoshi, that's fine. However sometimes it is 400 satoshi, sometimes it is 1200 satoshi and it keeps changing from bet to bet, why is there a big change all the time on them? Can't we just have one fixed minimum bet for ALL betting?

What you are saying isn't feasible. Satoshi itself is a very small amount of money and 400-1200 satoshis is nothing to be honest.

Sports betting with a fixed minimum bet in all markets is not possible based on what I have observed due to various factors such as juice, liquidity etc which is why it differs from market to market.

A fixed minimum bet is possible in casino style games like Dice, Roulette etc though.

It's possible for a sportsbook to have a fixed minimum but it needs to be somewhat higher like 10k satoshi. There are other sportsbooks that have very low minimums but they couldn't do it on all of their markets.probably because of the providers but it shouldn't be an issue since not many gamblers bet on all sports regularly except for the popular leagues.

Are you trying to say that longer time frame wagering contest has less risk? Is it just your opinion based on your own experience or it is just a baseless opinion? Dont you think that the more you wager the longer you wager, the higher risk you get?

I do not get it.... The Winner wagered 16+ BTC to win $150.    He would most certainly have lost way more than $150 to accomplish that? Why would you want to do that... it just do not make sense? Will it not be better if the Mega Race pay out way more than that for people to actually get something out of that? (Say 1% of what was wagered for the top 3 spots?) ....bigger carrot.....

Yes, the more you wager, it increase your chances of a loss. It is always good to determined how much you want to gamble and quit as soon as you reach the planned target. This has been detailed discuss here on  Wagering More or Wagering Less

Winning on the race does not always mean that those players are just focusing to win the prize of the race.
If we generalize that all players who wager that much are aiming for the race's prize only then it is obviously does not worth the risk.
Even if most players are wagering to win the race, they must have some reason why they do it.
Aside from aiming the prize, there is also rakeback, VIP bonus, etc. At least they get something back by wagering.

It was mainly during the esports period in the pandemic where I gambled on some esports and football and NBA wasn't around which I normally mainly play. I never really knew what the minimum was during the regular season because I was gambling over 10k all the time anyway, it was more like 0.01 eth fixed in most cases unless there is a rare situation where I wouldn't want to bet that much, whenever I went something other than 0.01 eth it was usually higher and not lower, so never really tested the minimum before.

But during this pandemic since there wasn't much to gamble on, I checked esports and since I didn't know the teams that well I usually just gambled the minimum allowed and in those esports games it was changing radically, from very very little to as high as 5k if I do not remember wrong.

I think you miscounted the reward there? as you can see the image he shares that the first place got 0.159 which is around 1.5k USD
and with these races you can easily earn 1.5k if you get first place

Also do not forget that not everyone really gambles for the rewards neither. There was a guy who wagered over 150 bitcoins for a reward of 500 bucks or something months ago, and he said he didn't gambled to win, he was just gambling like he always does and he ended up gambling at the same moment the competition was going on so he happened to win.
