I think it is because that now the world has changed, it is modern time and now world can't be run with one type of currency now. Online shopping and payments can be done easily with digital currency while in daily life paper money plays a vital role. I came across an article this morning that, to me, really shows why the world needs a virtual currency. I'm from England, and there's a saying here that goes: "When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold." The article discusses the history of the Asian Financial Crisis, and how we may be heading toward something similar.

It amazes me that we have a currency that can potentially protect us (working people) from global financial crises. This is unique and incredible time in history!

I think one of the main reason why the world needs a virtual currency is for unity and ease. As we use a single currency in the future, the more the chances that everyone will be united. Also, bitcoin is a global currency meaning it can be used by anyone wherein the transactions from different parts of the world will be made more easier than ever. Another thing is we are aready in the digital age so the currency should also be innovated together with the changes in the world.

I really think so that with the introduction of digital currencies, things have been changed quite a lot for all of us. 2) To engage into business worldwide without having to comply with all legal requirements and papers that are so tedious and expensive.
3) To control ones money.
4) To ensure ones transactions are secured, and your identity is not put at stake or will be used against you in the long run.

Don’t deceive yourself, having a virtual currency doesn’t mean You’re safe from financial crisis or whatever it is you may think. Being way too secured and fast is not making any sense at all, and won’t make you any different from others.
