Why did the date of the Ico appointed so late? For a month people can forget about the project ..

Nobody will forget about this promising project look over the result of pre-ICO why do you think like this. The team will make with more better strategy to launch main ICO round. I think this is good decision to arrange the stuff in due time.

in their whitepaper the following is said:

When the buyer selects UTRUST as a payment
method, we can choose to use funds from any
of his existing cryptocurrency wallets as
source of funds (e.g.: Bitcoin, Ethereum
address), or use his UTRUST funds. If he/she
has not created an account with us at this
stage, he/she can do so now or just proceed
and pay.

The buyer completes the transaction and the
amount is sent to UTRUST. Our UTRUST
system converts the cryptocurrency amount to fiat and holds it in escrow until
its released to the seller. The specific duration of this hold period will vary
depending on the merchant performance history

This will be main focused thing for ICO round to market about their partners who will integrate this system. This is my guess because pre-ico round showed us great results and now something highly potential will be plus point to be given to investors as reason of making much more in the main round which will also be successful.

Hi all,

After superficially exploring (read-only) crypto in recent months UTRUST seems to finally be a product with tangible real-world value to it. With my interest at peak I spent time reading parts of the whitepaper and it raises questions. For starters:

If both parties do not come to terms in 7 days, the buyer has the option to escalate the claim to a mediator. In this instance, a UTRUST operator joins the chat resolution and serve as mediator and arbitrator with final say on the dispute outcome. Proceeding with an escalation will incur a fee of 2% over the amount in hold if a buyer refund is issued by the UTRUST mediator.

What I understand is that the buyer is penalized even if innocent. Is it my level of English or intelligence?

Here's answer from dev. From a former post I understood that it depends on volume, transaction fee, etc. which currencies will be added.

Unconfirmed, but you can expect Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and their like. We will start with 10 + URUST.

I think all the majority, of those that are on the Poloniex exchange, although we will know for sure after a while, I think UTRUST team - as soon as they will be ready - they will make announcement

Lol. Look man, a project that is as awesome as this cannot be forgotten that easily. Just impossible. Let alone the fact that it just got delayed for a few weeks. The devs know what they are doing. So better not worry about that. Because you are wasting time worrying about such.

Even if they said that utrust is the digital currency version of paypal, i think utrust is still better in providing better features and functions.

I think now it is nor the right o decide about the Utrsut because PayPal is serving people from decades. Now we have to wait for Utrust how it can handle the bundle of a transaction to the different parts of the world. We have to wait for final releases of the Utrsut and then we have decided Utrust is much better than Paypal.

As far as I understood, partners will be tackled during the post-ICO. Whitepaper says that 20% of all post-ICO funds will be used for partner engagement - "Developing relationships with non-merchants' entities, such as exchange providers and other strategic partnerships, including possible joint ventures and incentives to drive platform adoption".
Of course, not to forget the already existing partnership with SOMA.

They had private sale that collected around 2m usd and pre-ico that collected around 1.5m USD if I am not mistaken.  I think they have collected a total of $3.5m  from these two sales.

Well, I agree that is why it is called promotion,  they need to bring real supporters to the project.  Though I do not think these are fake supporters since they are giving their time and effort to spread news and awareness about UTRUST.  Oh well, let us just see how UTRUST will perform on its ICO day.

Except these secret campaigns pay people to talk about the project doing meaningful posts so it's difficult to know which is a true supporter...

I agree actually they had not started their ICO yet, it will be on Nov. 2 and they only need 7 days for it. I hope small investors can get in since I read that some private group chat of whales are coming in to this ICO sales.

Which whale telegram group is that? How did you get in?
I am not sure if its good for the token if whales come in, they are more likely to dump and manipulate the token price

I have been around UTRUST telegram and some person talked about some group of big investors getting interested to hop in to this project, though I do not know if it is the whale group but well I hope a large number of small investors can be able to participate to this project.  It would be a waste if whales can just manipulate this beautiful project.

I don't know this will happen or not. But icos are very unpredictable. I can't blame them if they put an investor before it. After a failed ico, no-one would want to invest you.

Lol this is not a failed ICO,  actually their private sale and pre-ico were sold out in just a couple of hour.  I believe this is one hot project, and legit one too since they are into implementing  KYC and AML to follow the law.  UTRUST will be among the first one to open an era of cleaner ICO, I guess MYST is another one that implemented KYC.

The partnership with SOMA is a great thing, yes. But to get other partnerships I guess it will be necessary to have a working alpha or beta to show. And the first platform test API for Merchants is scheduled for Q2 2018.
