I do long term investment than day trade. For me Long term investment is better and more profitable than day trade. I have many experiences that I earned big amount of money because of the long term investments.

There are two type in long term investment, Are you holder or month trader? Because holder not care about the price of coin they holding, they just create target and forget all. Different with trader, trader are people follow the price of their coin everyday and create some strategy for sell/buy on market.

I said it more then once here, I tried day trading and I wasn`t good at it. Now I buy and hold some alt-coins, if I see that I`m in good profit I sell if not I hold for longer. If alt-coin is going down I buy more, I did that with ripple twoo weeks ago, when ripple touched 3k satoshis I bought more on that amount.
Some coins will worth much more next year then now, so some coins are for holding and buying more when ever I can. If coin have some peak I sell and buy again when price falls. That is mistake I made with litecoin, I sold on 0.019 btc and I should enter again when price touched 0.011 btc but I thought it will fall a bit more before it went up. I was late for that train, that is good example how you can trade and make profit, it requires risking.

Both of them are good to make profit but you must choose a good coin that have a great and hardworking Dev if you are doing long term trading because there's a lot of shitcoin that die in short term so be careful choose wisely. I must prefer for long term trading since I'm busy on my regular job I choose the top 10 coin on coinmarketcap now I'm holding Monero, litecoin and EOS.

Yes, but I think both have their own pros and cons. And it is you who has to decide, whether to go for day trading or holding them for a longer period. If you are good in trading, then there is no harm in it. Otherwise, Holding will be a better option.

If you are new to trading world then day trading can be risky as there are higher chances that you will make a wrong move by getting panic when you price crashing down so at that stage holding longer would be profitable and after gaining good experience you can go for day trading.

long-term investment is very profitable, but it is not wrong if you want to try trading, because trading is also to produce each and every day though the result is not too big but at least produce a profit.

Day trading is good if you have high capital to invest as you can make good profits even if there is a small fluctuation and that may not be possible with smaller capital and if you have limited capital then better to buy and wait for the price to pump and in that case you will be making good profits.

Now there is so much volatility in the exchange rates. The prices are going up or going down by as much as 10% in a single day. If you are that confident about your tradings skills, the go ahead with trading. But I would not recommend it in normal circumstances.

at the moment (september 4rd) holding is the best option. All altcoins are in red right now because of the bitcoin price crash, so holding is the best option right now.
For example, eth is -20% , monero -10%, and many others altcoins are too down right now.. I am re-buying some altcoins to gain a little profit when bitcoin recover from all this dump.

I prefer to do both, long term investment (HODLING) and becoming a day trader. I've got a lot of time to check all of my trades even I'm working at my office as the boss won't be noticing what I do. But for those people that doesn't have the time to see their trades and monitor it daily, best investment will be hodling out.

Personally, I think we can talk about the real long term from 8-10 years of investments. I think that cryptos can be easily beneficial in the long run except a few small exceptions that will have to be avoided.
To sum up I am for a long placement with small (everything is relative) are a bit in all sectors: one of them will eventually fly away.

I don’t about other coins but personally I am in favor of holding bitcoins for many years. We all know that they are going to increase in value in the future and with limited supply, will become more expensive. It would be really impossible for people with normal incomes to hold bitcoins after five years.

yes suggest this day hold some coins because all the coin prices slumped down, wait a few days to come later sell the coin.

Holding is boring but it can give you best profits if you hold your coins for the right time and when it comes to make money then we should have patience to hold our coins even if its boring as we cannot afford to make loss by selling them at a wrong time and if you lack patience then you will surely get negative results from it.

I think by Day Trade he means the trading. And I’ll suggest that it is something which depends on you entirely. If you are smart enough that you can manage to earn from doing day trade, then go for it. This is something more preferable but certainly not for one who does not know well about it.

Just hold it for a very long time and it will triple your profit, If you are a trader that looking for the charts daily then you will notice that there's really an enormous pumping sometimes and maybe the price will also goes down but just stay still and hold your coin for a very long time till it reaches your desired profit.

yes that is right holding bitcoin will be the best idea. although if you have good experience in trading altcoin then you can also make good money from there but still if you are reluctant to invest your money anywhere then you should simply hold your bitcoin and hope that through this way you will certainly get a good profit because the price of bitcoin is expected to increase more and more.
