Why would Stunna implement something that can't be provably fair, while allowing other bankrollers to take some of HIS winnings. That to me seems a little crazy given how successfully PrimeDice is already. If it aint broke...

That ^ .

It can't be provably fair, and people will talk how he is scamming every time when something like yesterday happens , some whale wins big. Which he just doesn't need.

And yeah that would mean sharing profits with investors , which again he doesn't need.

Pd probably has much bigger bankroll than to cover current max bet , but since its all on its own its better to take less risk .

When its not ur money that they gamble u can set max bet to 10% of bankroll , who cares its not ur money that u are risking.

IMHO Stunna, you're causing more harm then good not accepting investments. DB just got caught again for skipping nonce's, this will probably be the end for them and he will most likely run off with investors funds (1k+ BTC). Sure you can tell people not to invest in any website since it's not provably fair but greed is human nature, if they think they can make money, they're going to do whatever, no matter how much you emphasize how risky it is.

I can totally understand if you don't want to accept investments because you would prefer to risk the bank-roll with your own coins but if that's not the case and you don't want to accept investments because it's not provably fair, I think that's extremely stupid. You're 1 of if not the most trusted guy in the btc gambling industry and I think you should seriously re-consider accepting investments.

Also if you don't want to be liable for holding that many coins, what's the worst that can happen if you put them in an offline wallet? I'm sure Dooglus would give advice on the best way to do things as he had 60k + coins invested at peak and not a single problem occurred.

Either way, this is the last time I'll bring it up because I'm probably getting annoying lol.

Good luck either way.

well you gotta respect people decisions. this how he runs his business, so lets respect the persons decision

Hello,

I have been playing on PD for over 2 years and many hundreds of bitcoin wagered. Not a whale of anything of that nature but a liked to gamble some extra money in my spare time. Well, like most, my luck ran out and I ended up losing a bit in the end. Alright.

Recently it came to my attention that (quote) "it was found that the house edge was actually higher than 1% because of the rounding they placed on all rolls. At least 1 in 20,000 bets were marked as losing bets when they should of been a winning bet. All bets had a 1.05% to 50% house edge. It may seem small, but when there have been 781,000,000 bets for a total of 408,000B wagered, it is actually very meaningful."

So, out of pure interest I went to look at the published list of users affected and would you believe it, I happened to be on the list twice. Once for a .01btc bet and once for a .02 btc bet, both on 2x payout.
I had my 'strategy' figured out on primedice Wink I would pre-roll 5 reds then start to martingale at .01 hope to bloody hell it goes green soon Smiley I did pretty well in the beginning but eventually I hit that streak that we fear and we are in a loss. 'Those' streaks only happened about 2/3 times to me as I am not a millionaire and cannot afford to double up much at all from such a high base bet.

So I learn that I have been a 'victim' (for lack of a better word) of the flaw that was on PD and consequently lost my beloved .03 btc. Well, at least the site is being kind enough to publish the list of users effected. I personally am amazed that my luck was so bad that I am on that list but there you go. There is now a glimmer of hope however, lets see what PD support says. The guy who replied was super fast, glad to help you -after verifying that I was indeed the user claiming to be affected he said 'sure -what's new PD addy and I'll send you the .03btc now!' Nooooow, just hang on a wee moment there buddy, I BET .02 & .01 with a 2x payout -since it's now been 'proven' that I won, then I WON. You at LEAST owe me the wager + winnings. He/she/it said 'I will double check' and shortly came back to confirm that indeed I am right.

Secondly, and all along, I had been asking to see the subsequent bets after these affected bets, because, if I wagered .02 and lost, I would have doubled up and perhaps lost again, and again -it it might have been this streak that killed me. There were not too many so I have a damn good reason to think it's possible. I pointed this out again to support, who said although the do not agree with my theory they can look into the matter but it would take 'significant' time and I may end up getting nothing back. What he could do was offer me a few pennies worth of btc as a consultation. I told him I am not interested in a meager handout from his back pocket of a few satoshi - I bet hundreds of dollars and may have been duped from the ineptness of the sites ability to process a simple bet on 2x. IF I had won that 2x bet, instead of being a couple btc in arears, I would have been in profit. YOU'RE site FUCKED me out out my BTC. Sorry for the french but I am not some decrepit lowlife playing from faucet, I was/am a serious customer of PD. Even on PD3 I was excited and I am lv25 or something.

I did not have a answer now for 2 days from support. They said the dev's would have to find the results and they would get back to me. I am hoping they do as I still have faith in PD but it wears thin now. I don't know what to make of this error except that I am sad I fell victim to it. I hope PD steps up to the plate on this one, show the people they are a decent bunch and pay back a customer IN FULL when there has frankly been a heinous breach of trust.

You want more BTC because you could have doubled it, then doubled it again? That's a mathematically ignorant approach. You could not only have lost it - I think you're forgetting that - but a) you're basing on this on the fact that you are now claiming you would have gambled that BTC, which obviously you can't prove, and b) if you use those BTC to gamble now you have the exact same chance of doubling it. Your approach makes no sense - please don't try to twist a site's support this way because you want a few extra bucks.

Quick Side Note: I am not affiliated with PD other than moderating chat, I do not get paid by them, this is my own opinion, etc etc etc.

Not because I could have doubled it -but I ALWAYS DO -that's how I played and my bet history can prove that too. Also, I like the way you try to play it down 'a few extra bucks' yeah sure just a few extra bucks whatever. It was more than a few bucks, AND the amount should not matter at all. Furthermore, on a final note, this does not concern you, so stay out of fit, insect.

Am I kidding you? No, I am not kidding you. Did the title of my post start with 'joke'? I got a 'refund' as you so inadequately describe it on money that I won in the first place. Can you please, since you are so smart and like to butt in to conversations, give me a reason why I shouldn't get a 'refund'?

Yeah actually we do. We get paid 1btc per hour to sit here all day and reply so fast Cheesy . Awesome job, right ?

Anyways , all that can be done is refunding the bet that was lost due to 0.05% bigger house edge.
Or nothing at all , im glad that Stunna chose that first option Smiley .

Other scenarios of "what could happen if it didn't happen" are just not possible. Unless u invent time machine (good luck with that) .

I did not ask any of your opinions. I lost in a streak that tainted and unfair. Who the hell are you scumbags anyway, must be working for PD to sit here all day and reply so fast, jeez, I just went to get some coffee.

Err... time machine? I don't need a time machine... the bet that 'woulda' happened is on record :0 (maybe you missed that is exactly what I am requesting) That's like saying I wonder how old I will be in 20 years, guess the only way to find out is a time machine

So he was martingling, and he lost a bet he should have won. And because of that he countinued to double up and lost the remander of his bank. Now isnt that the same concept as when dicebitco.in was skipping nonces. The users were martingling and they lost a bet they should have won and because of that they continued to double up and lost the remander of there bank. To me it seems like the same concept. And PD is refusing to pay out the rest. Seems like a scam to me.

Yeah u are right they should pay out infinite amount of coins coz that is what he would make if he didn't lost that bet and continued playing martingale.

My bad.

Yeah u are right they should pay out infinite amount of coins coz that is what he would make if he didn't lost that bet and continued playing martingale.

My bad.

Just payout what he lost on the martingle streak. Otherwise its the same as the dicebitco.in incident.
