I believe that was just a (purportedly severe) reduction in chat experience, also applied retroactively.

Lol why not implement an automuter to mute anyone that posts more than 3-4 chat messages within 5 seconds like on PD2? I'm speechless as to why you haven't already made that move.

When the chat was being flooded even normal mutes were not working at that time as sockets were being flooded as well. We're adding rate limiting/automutes back in.

Upon implementation of those features, would it be reasonable to expect chat messages to once again provide experience (as rate limiting/automutes would render the current measure redundant in spammer deterrence)? There's been some general discontent over this handling of the spammer situation, though it's hard to tell if that's just a vocal minority.

It's like every week or two we have less and less benefits.  I understand it's free BTC, but it really isn't cool that you slowly keep taking them from us.

Trying to stop abusers is going to take a lot of trial and error. When you offer something for free or levels that can be achieved people will try abuse it for their own benefit. It's all about trying to find a workable solution whilst trying not to get robbed blind. It's sad that people try abuse these things but it's bound to happen so they need to try limit it as best they can.

I respect that, but you need to update the visual level... It still says I am levlel 31. And PLEASE increase the amount of experience gained for betting, I wont be able to gain any levels with my bankroll. :/

rainbot tries its best to not reward any spammers and beggers. in fact the begging problem was slightly reduced by encouraging this rule as its blacklist statistics prove.

Faucet is not slashed. Just all faucet earned with chating is no longer counted towards faucet amount.
Its done that way so it doesn't encourage chating (spaming) anymore.
