Primedice seems really intuitive and useful for gaining bitcoins. I didn't know a lot about bitcoins but this is a great place to both learn and use them! Signing up is incredibly quick and painless so you can start playing right away. I would recommend this to anyone else looking to give it a try.

Rebranding 5.0 incoming...

Can you give us some hints of 5.0?
What's new you will be offering to your users?
When can we expect?
Will there be any other coins too?
Don't expect much, except for the faucet going more down for the old users, themes changing a bit and a new hype getting created that PD5 is incoming. Remember the time when hype for PD3 was created and it was projected as if something entirely new and great is going to come, what came out was new design few features that hardly anyone used. PvP was the only good thing that came in but was further removed saying that it's not being used much and is just increasing the load on the website.
Would be great if PD can bring in the PvP feature back. It was just amazing.

Yes I rememeber PD3. It sure was a disappointement.

Honestly I think PD5 will be a disappointment either since I am pretty sure most of their attention right now is focused on their sister site Stake.com

Most likely it will be a different themes and maybe a minor feature or two.

Rebranding 5.0 incoming...

yay, hope there will be more info about it with pictures
sneakpeaks make you want it even more Smiley
but knowing Primedice's ....speed in developping things,I'd say we are in for a 6-7 month's wait in front of us
hope I'm mistaken and the rebranding is done swiftly and without many bugs and lags

Sneakpeak will never do actually, what everyone need here is some huge giveaways that will attract even more players to come here. I would like to see something really good about this 5.0 version. And about this speed, I think this is depends on your location whether it is near to the server or not. This is not something that you can compare as I can say here, do it manually if the speed is not that good

Yes, they are diverting a lot of attention towards Stake.com.

The new site does not only offer new games to play with, but till now it has the best UI among st all the btc gambling websites created till date.

Surely there are a bug or two at stake.com, but surely it is going to go towards new heights. Also, primedice will be getting the PvP feature back. It won't be brought back by the house itself, but I have heard that the community itself is developing the PvP back. Waiting for it to be implemented soon.

Yes, they are diverting a lot of attention towards stake.com and that's because this website is new and those whole services offered by primedice. Personally I don't expect anything innovative in PD5 but it will be better than old one, otherwise they wouldn't make update.
Personally I don't like stake's template, prefer FJ in this situation, maybe that's because local casinoes websites are very similar of FJ. Stake is more easy template, colorful and makes different atmosphere, maybe that's good but prefer old and regular template style of all casino.

Thanks for your opinion. We're taking this on board for Stake actually, a clean option will be available in the new year.

As for Primedice don't expect anything soon, we love the current layout so it's going to take some time to find something even better.

Good to see, Stake definitely seems very childish in comparison to Primedice, but with that said, it's an awesome experience and levelling up is a tonne of fun. I think you could change the formula a little to make it a little less fast paced in the beginning then stagnant towards the end.

We nearly had a jackpot win! User Prime210 rolled 7/8 of the needed 7's on a 0.1 BTC bet.

That would have been a 112 BTC win! So close...

That's very very close. Is the JP already an automatic process or do you still have to check it yourself?

Actually it isn't automatic still according to the terms

Quote
This is a self reporting system, if you win please email support@primedice.com or contact us on Bitcointalk, Facebook or Twitter

If you win, please contact support immediately & do not change your seed, false reporting will result in a permanent ban and forfeiture of all future winnings.

Really surprised they make it manual. I am guessing its to prevent the wins happening on autobet and they are hoping the winning jackpot gambler will miss it.

Indeed, who knows it's hitted already a few times. Guess 99% of the players would like to have 1BTC paid from the JP to pay the devs to fixed it.

Who told you about it? Is he Edward or maybe PD's mods? It should be clear, as I know most people (including me) thinks that the jackpot is using manual system. If it is really like what you said (stop if it hits on autobet) then it is good, maybe all PD users will start to hunt for the jackpot with autobet.

Frankly, I don't think PD really wants someone to win the jackpot cause if they do, surely they have someone good at coding to implement automated jackpot specially after months of adding it as their feature.

Yeah, automatic payout of jackpot would be better. i've seen few dice sites with jackpot, automatically credit the user when they hit the jackpot.
