Are false and misleading statements to the gambling community part of your business strategy?

This user in question was linked by fingerprint to a user who defrauded PD out of a significant sum of money. Given that, their account had a flag on it before they even made a deposit. We asked for ID and the user provided an identity we believed wasn’t theirs. We wanted to have a phone call with them to try and clear this up and after many delays they agreed. It was clear they had found a non-involved girl talk to us who didn’t seem to know anything about primedice or bitcoin. That violated our terms but obviously that isn't why we held the withdrawal, we held it for the reason originally stated.

I'd like to stop this right here and make clear that this is not a matter of money but rather a matter of principle. I'm happy to donate at minimum the funds involved in this claim to a charity of the community's choosing. The trust of this community is not something we take for granted and is why we elected to post here to further explain this unusual situation.

Some support tickets may have taken longer than expected to get solved the past week as I've been traveling, none should have taken more than 48 hours or so but please accept my apologies if you were one of those people.

Wrong thread, mate! PD support has 8-10 members and I'm sure they did just great without you. Also, I doubt that you are a PD support member.

Do you guys notice how besides the #2 player (godog) most of the players who wager the most BTC, don't make the most profit. Pretty crazy eh?

I would be nice to see a "Top Losers of the Week" and just wondering how those players are doing.

I remember a few years back, people would make like 50-100 BTC per day on Primedice, but I guess alot has changed.

What is crazy about that? I am pretty sure it is a possible thing to do, well I am not sure how he do it but I ever did exactly the same thing with him but because my balance is not thst big I do not have the chance to get huge profit but my wagered amount sure increasing fast. Btw there is no way they will put top losser of the week, because people will actually count on how much profit that they actually get or may be even can point something out from there that will harm owner as well

Talking about marketing, your idea wouldn't be so appreciated, because generally the loss doesn't have an appeal on gamblers. I think that there is no dice site offering this feature.

Dice site normally has 1 % house edge. That means you are losing 1 % of every amount you wagered. Given the current top 1 that wagered over 90 bitcoin, that mean he should be losing around 0.9 bitcoin. Thats why most of the top wagered are not on the top profit list, it is in the nature of gambling that gambler should be the one losing. The one winning alot is what we called as variance

Even when this is true, there must be a number that gives you the most chances to be on the top winners of the week (or over a certain ammount, for example, 10 BTC).
I mean, the variance and the house edge is the same for everybody, but the ammount changes: a player who bets 0.00000001 will find his/her way much harder than a guy who can bet 100 BTC. In simpler words, it is obvious that a person who play higher, will get higher prizes and a higher chances to be there.

People who wager that much may be addicted to gambling and/ or using some systems that requires to make many small bets. From comparison of these two lists you can clearly see that godog's system/ strategy is working well. Two more things I would like to see on these lists are no of bets (for most wagered) and luck percentage (for top winners).

You're right that's easier to get included in top winners list with 100BTC bankroll, but it's also easier to get in top losers lists if there would be any  Grin

The reason why the statistics are interesting is because normally you assume that people who wager alot, usually make alot of BTC. However out of the Top 10 there was only 1 user who both wagered alot and won alot.

The #1 wagered was almost 100 BTC and the biggest profit was less than 10 BTC.

Also the people who wagered alot, could of made small bets, however looking at the Top 10 profit list, the profits aren't even that big.

So wagered close to 100 BTC and not even winning 1 BTC doesn't seem like a good strategy. But I agree with the above poster that the luck percentage charts would also help.

If you are trying to be on the top wagered than it is much easier to start with higher bankroll however it doesnt even mean you are going to win. Variances is indeed a bitch in gambling, imagine that you are trying to win 1 btc at 1.01 odds with 100 btc wagered and ended up losing? But of course if you win, wagering with 100 btc and 0.00001 btc provide so much different return

Do you guys notice how besides the #2 player (godog) most of the players who wager the most BTC, don't make the most profit. Pretty crazy eh?

I would be nice to see a "Top Losers of the Week" and just wondering how those players are doing.

Here is the previous week, unlike that one the high wagered players did tend to pull off larger profits. While it is true that variance decreases after more sessions of betting the tiny house edge here hardly seemed to have an effect on these players of this week above.

Also, right now these leaderboards aren't accounting for Ethereum/litecoin, we'll be patching that up soon Smiley

That 32BTC profit though. Well, considering the amount that he wagered, it is not surprising to see that profit. It would be pretty interesting to see the names of those who lost a lot in PD. That is not to smite them but for us to see the how much people are losing in dice. Though I'm not hoping for it to be published because it will not do any good for the website.  Roll Eyes
