Bitcoin Price has been lowering a bit more now, will your minds change concerning betting at Primedice?
Tell us what you think about the latest price chances from Bitcoin and other ALTs.
I think as long as players can get their losses back for the past 5 years, price chances are not so much important.

If you lose track of the money you are winning or losing that is also a bad sign for you.

You are gambling, which means you are risking money, I agree most of us came from countries that gambling was illegal and eventually found our place in gambling world thanks to primedice and initially we were bad gamblers and lost a bunch of money but after a while almost everyone realized that gambling is an entertainment thing and not a money making thing and if you are going to have fun from gambling then you need to keep track of the amount you gamble with.

If you have "too much" fun you could be in debt pretty soon. That is why I always deposit x amount of dollars just in case and do not go above that ever, hell I even withdrew the excess couple times when I won as well. Just keeping the track on the amount you play will make it even more fun since you won't lose too much.

This is really good advice and one should definitely read and understand it, as we all have been at this stage till we matured into pros. I’ll admit when I initially took to gambling I thought I would make quick bucks, even thought would become a millionaire over night, but ended up loosing everything. I feel one should be mindful when he’s betting this way he can control himself, and keep a track of his gambling.

No offense to both of you but gamblers who are here are sure know the things you are talking, most of us does not need an advise anymore, what we need
is an advise to win, if you can share some method to win then maybe that is most interesting than the advised mentioned.

Latest price makes some people being frustrate because all of them expect the price higher but these conditions mostly feel only the traders but for the gamblers it will have not big effect whether the price low or high and they will always be gamble everytime they want and probably they will consider playing at primedice as your wish
I guess there is a good effect when the price of bitcoin decreases, one of which is when you buy bitcoin to make a deposit to Primedice then the difference in money you spend will get a lot of bitcoin. I mean when the price of bitcoin is $10,000 then you will only get a small amount of bitcoin when you buy with $100, but when the price of bitcoin is $3400 then with $100 you can get a litlle more.

Are you sure your computer isn't compromised, maybe check your hosts file and you might have a redirect to some other domain.

Because I've tried 3 different browsers, I manually put in "www.primedice.com" and each of them redirected to the correct HTTPS.

Normally its easy to tell when you are not on a HTTPS because there is a warning shown near the address that its not secure and most people would notice this.

Go download a Ubuntu live CD, and try and go to primedice from there and see where it takes you. Most likely it will redirect to the HTTPS meaning your OS might have malware or such.

However for people like me who has been playing here constantly for the past 5 years it really doesn't mean all that much. And to be frank with you I play with "fiat" in mind, I do not depsoit x amount of bitcoin in my mind, I deposit $50 worth of bitcoin here to gamble for hopefully 2 weeks (sometimes longer sometimes shorter) and do not care how much bitcoin that $50 equals to at the time, sometimes worths a lot of bitcoins sometimes worths less but its always the same 50$ I deposit. Hence the change in the price do not really phase me at all.

From the logical point of view, you are right, betting itself is the same, but knowing that BTC was once 20k, some people still bet as it is still were 20k. Maybe it is because habit, or because they are thinking "what if I risk X amount, and in three month it is value is 10 times what is today", sometimes even myself lose sense of how much I'm betting, thinking I made a great bet, but figuring out it was a low prize later.
We should always think about focusing so no matter how value it could be as long as we are enjoying and and we are extending the time playing
inside the house that's good instead of playing with thoughts of something else and regret after losing, if we play this way we should not start it
at all.

But we do have our own ways of gambling, either in fiat or crypto best still is to gamble responsibly.

Everyone wants to have this big winning of course but the problem is either they do not have much luck or may be they do not enough bankroll to hit that multiplier. I believe the greater money you have, the better result you will get comparing with others. And what focus do you need when to play dice games? You do not need such thing, what you really need is luck and cash, this is pretty much to do only for some people

I have Ubuntu and I have windows 10 on a separate laptop and use mint on another, primedice is aware of the issue because they had it before Josh one of the devs told this on primedice forum and I had several scans on PD's domain from my own web-hosting with proof it was not secure, I didn't save the screenshots since I did a fresh install of Ubuntu last night and the images are gone with it and primedice deleted the post containing those images on their forum. I might do some new tests if I can't retrieve the images on imgur but helping primedice with bugs and issues always kind of s**ks because they never reward people for reporting them, so doing scans and making new screenshots even writing these posts actually feels as a waste of time for me. But if someone is from the Netherlands, visits primedice for the first time enters his credentials makes a deposit and their money could be gone the moment it confirms on the site because there was no secure connection protecting the data and on primedice there is a high percentage of hacked accounts and money that's withdrawn from users without them knowing at the time and support always is so sure it is on the users end because my bug report got waven away initially as well and not directly forwarded to the devs, and if such leaks exists regional and/or incidental it is not good and how many of those hacked accounts is because of this?

There is no failure in redirecting on my side, once my browser knows the https address it redirects me there, so the failure is on primedice side and it's a regional thing as stated by the dev.

And you are so wrong that most people would see this, these are the same people uploading pictures of their drivers license to instagram or their passport to twitter and then wonder why their identity got stolen, they don't even know the urgency and the meaning of HTTPS let alone pay attention to it sites from banks and such give a warning to check the web address to be correct and that it shows HTTPS for a reason and a very good reason, it's like saying people's accounts are secure because everyone knows to never use a password twice while where I come from 2 out of 3 people use the same password not twice but everywhere.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I found the cached page of the forum if it's any use: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://forum.primedice.com/topic/34947-connection-to-pd-domain-is-not-secure-by-default/

The post with screenshots of the scans I posted to the forum, so a server located in the EU gives the same result and it seems to happen incidental.

Quote
I ran 2 tests with 2 different domains, one with duckdice.io domain inserting http://duckdice.io I got this as a result:

https://i.imgur.com/soBAlbu.jpg

Primedice domain inserting http://primedice.com I got this first as a result:

https://i.imgur.com/0Q5U1v7.jpg

Second result for primedice domain:

https://i.imgur.com/k3CmVug.jpg

So there is some variation in redirecting...

Edit:

Well I did what I had to do, a few days ago told this to support, and now posted here, my tests prove it is not on my end but on PD's end.

Either they need to check the .htacces file, contact the webhost about the SSL certificate or start enabling 'HTTP Strict Transport Security'

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Go download Ubuntu cd live is not something as easy as it sounds Cheesy however I didn't know malware could make this kind of changes on our computers, I have heard changing the bitcoin address automatically so if you copy paste an address it will be someone else instead of yours however I didn't know this "forced phishing" or whatever its called could be done.

Changing the host files to redirect you to some other website could be dangerous at the hands of wrong people (why would good people do it anyway), for all the gamblers out there if you are going to deposit money to any casino, if this is a real problem, please double check your website name and make sure it is not something wonky before you deposit. However, I think this is just a common regional issue and not a big thing.

Installing Ubuntu is easier then it sounds, if I send my 6 year old nephew to the Dutch ubuntu page give him a usb drive and a laptop he has it on it in +/- a hour.

The changing of a bitcoin address when copying your own and pasting the phishers address was a chrome app that was sold off and the new owners thought scamming would be a great idea.

And I like some google search results or whatever of how common this is so it can be fixed.  Undecided

If we see from the price side maybe you're correct but for the gamblers there is no effect for the price that no matter amount of money is in their wallet but eventually they will still gamble however if you want to gamble with low amount of money i think find altcoins such as Doge because the price was very cheap and i used to gamble using my Doge when the price of bitcoin expensive

It is kind of both advertisement and encouragement. I mean they are advertising in a way that shows it is in fact possible to win this much and also try to say go out and test it out yourself and see if you can make it as well. I mean its not wrong there is always a chance to hit it big but what are the odds of hitting this big? Its very rare.

The threshold is so high that it doesn't really bother me honestly, I mean 30 thousand dollars and more really means that person probably made profit, sometimes people win like 1000 dollars and you say god knows how many times they had to bet to reach that level but when someone wins 30 thousand you know he must have profited unless he was super unlucky, hitting that much of an odd on that price probably means he got like over 20 thousand profit easily.

~snip~
I feel one should be mindful when he’s betting this way he can control himself, and keep a track of his gambling.
No offense to both of you but gamblers who are here are sure know the things you are talking, most of us does not need an advise anymore, what we need
is an advise to win, if you can share some method to win then maybe that is most interesting than the advised mentioned.

No way to have a lower risk in gambling, other than controlling the total amount available for wagering/betting... Imho.

No, of course not m0gliE.

It's way to inform new Gamblers that it's possible to win those profits and withdraw them without any issue from Primedice Casino.
And to show everyone has the same chances to win something like those big profits.

Ok.

Was asking because I think even if the site is really well made, it's lacking a bit of the... You know, informative page?
Live stats and all.
You got some but I guess it could be a bit deeper.

mOgliE is addressing a serious point that I have noticed in the past, but didn't want to comment on.

These images (which I see on twitter every few days as well) makes it look like it's really common for gamblers t owin huge amounts of money. In the description, it often says stuff like 'this guys showed us how to turn X amount of money into Y amount of money, which is often not true since most gamblers need to make a huge amount of bets before they even hit that big multiplier.
