Yeah n should be much faster than that. But sometimes they get lots of spam, so they miss some important emails. Try resending email. Or ask here or on pd chat, in most cases comunity can help u out with questions.

That is like flipping a coin.   If you flipped it thousands of times, there is a good chance that you will see heads or tails come up 10 times in a row.

The exact probability of that happening can be found on google.   I don't know the exact equation...

Each flip is independent, 0.5 chance of a partcular outcome.   So, your chance of 10 heads (out of 10 exactly flips) = 0.5^10 =approx 0.000976

So, if you flip 1000 times, you have a 90% chance that there's a run of 10 heads in there somewhere.  Isn't that corect?

That is amazing.  The most that I've won is 11 or 12 in a row with 2x.  I stopped after that and didn't continue.  Cashed out since I was down earlier in the day.

This is missleadning..

The jackpot which results in a +7x added to your payout on a 77.77 roll and makes any roll a win results in that edge.

I am also a bit puzzled by the edge percentage.
My calculations give a different percentage.
Here is what I understand:

Say the house has an edge of x% (in our case, x = 0.91).
Suppose I have 1BTC, and I make a single bet of that amount.
Then the expected amount I have after the bet *should* be
1 - x/100 = 0.9909 BTC     (*)

Let's now compute the expected amount I have after the bet.
Say my bet has payout factor 2, i.e., the win chance is 49.50%.

If we ignore the jackpot bonus, the expected amount after the bet is
2*0.4950 = 0.99
(if I win I have 2 BTC, if I lose I have none) 
 
Jackpot occurs with probability 1/10000, and if it occurs, it results
in an additive bonus of k times the amount bet (n our case k = 8, I believe).
Thus the expected bonus in my 1BTC bet is
1*k/10000.

Combining the above two we get that the expected total amount I have after the bet is
0.99 + k/10000.
(I can add the two, because of the linearity property of expectation.)

For the above  amount to be equal to 0.9909 BTC (as we expect from (*))
it must be that
k = 9.

In particular, this means that if the outcome of the bet is a jackpot then
- If I had bet high, then my balance after the bet should be 11BTC (i.e., profit of 10BTC)
- If I had bet low, then my balance after the bet should be 9BTC (i.e., a profit of 8BTC)

If the above is correct then I think that the value for the multiplier k that is used
currently (k=8?) is lower than the one that would result in the advertised house edge.

Not condoning the idea, but there aren't any verifiers like the one that caught dicebitco.in yet, and also, there are many other ways to commit such a crime that are way less noticeable/subliminal I bet...no one knew that what dicebitco.in did was possible.

And it was well known that sites can cheat. That's why we use provably fair algorithms and roll verifiers - so that we can catch them if they do.

I think you're right, but I also seem to remember that the jackpot does indeed pay out an extra 9 times your stake in addition to your regular winnings.

Take this example:



He bet 0.00400303 at 1.035x and won. That should give a profit of around 0.00014011

But he also hit the jackpot and so won an extra 9 times his stake:

0.03616747021432305

If he had lost, his profit would have been 8 times his stake (9 from the jackpot, -1 from losing the bet)

Uhh, a free 7x chance while randomly betting, imagine doing a 96% bet on 1btc and you hit it. Thats pretty good. It actually theoretically raises the house edge form 0.91% to 1%. Its a bonus, no one actually goes for this.
