I can't speak to token economics and potential ROI, but if we are talking about pure innovation and quality of project then Hadron is right at the top of my list. They are working on a decentralized computing network for massively scaled AI training. The team consists of members from Stanford, Harvard, Berkley, Google, and Microsoft.
A lot of companies are doing this (Sonm, Golem, even Amazon and Microsoft themselves). Time will tell whether some will overtake the others, or if the market will be big enough to feature them all
