also how do you query the network for hashrate/diff?

getnetwrokhashps
Right, but where?  do you need to run like 'digitalcoind' and query it at the CLI?  can it be done through the qt client and/or on windows?

Please note: I edited the fair launch policy numbers in the code to lower initial rewards and make the launch fairer, updated numbers will be posted soon.

all queries: launch client -> help ->debug window

i found 11 new blocks and I got 4 transactions  Huh Why?  Cry

Someone found the blocks faster than you and/or was able to propogate data through the network before you could.

This coin has potential like what i see so far. Especially like how you have cleaned up the wallet feels smoother than the WDC wallet which is a tad bloated.

Difficulty will increase again soon on its way to target of 1.

If you are getting too many orphans, make sure you have the following in your config file(or equivalent command in launch string):

"expiry" : "1",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",

BitJohn, thanks! Once the network is well distributed, the merits will show clearer Smiley

The best part about this coin, is I can wait to see if it will be profitable, before mining, and loose very little by not jumping on it right away...

Difficulty updated to 0.25. Stability should be obvious now.

I have more important things on my mind, mainly, the coin itself.

If you or another kind person could help the community by setting up a pool, I and everyone would be grateful.

Of course, whoever does, will get a nice pool fee..

well the pool IS the coin, because soon ppl who don't get a look in at the start because there are no pools will boycott your coin. The more people that have a steak in your coin the more chance the coin will succeed. Your coin was still prone to the same instamine as all the other coins as shown here in previous posts on this thread a few showing they have thousands of the coin whilst the rest have 0. If you had released with pool then you would have a much more respectable coin end of story.

I updated the fair launch numbers to reflect the actual code. I lowered the rewards at the top half.
