admittedly the jokes come along way, but any exchange that lists doge instantly losses alot of cred in many eye's.

Who said anything about listing doge?

This is from the NXT thread. NXT is a very interesting second-generation coin (a crypto-ecosystem, really), and I think they could bring a lot of the right kind of attention to CryptoAve.
I hope you all think this is worth a follow-up.

New Exchange:

https://cryptoave.com

Info@CryptoAve.Com
Suggestions@CryptoAve.Com

The big deal here is they are planning on integrating merchant tools with their coin/usd pairs. Let's let them know we're interested in adding Nxt.

why is my antivirus going insane when visiting the digitalcoin website listed in the op?
Probably a false positive. Will need to add exclusion in Avast.

Yeah I reported it to Avast tech support as an FP. In the meantime after alot of google searching to no avail and headscratching I found that using the digitalcoin.co IP address fixes the problem in Avast (which is what comes up as the FP) for the digitalcoin.co websites. For the skeptics if you don't believe me ping digitalcoin.co.

Open Avast and go to Settings -> Antivirus -> Exclusions -> URL and put in *50.21.183.100*

Cheers.

Anyone having email verification problems with CAve try using a different email address for now and change it later. Hotmail/Outlook.com definitely works as I just made another test account 10 mins ago. The email did go to my spam folder but I still recieved it.

Cheers

Congrats to the opening of CryptoAve! Lot's of work is still to be done of course.

I'm looking forward to the new website so that new users get a better impression about the coin and will be willing to mine it or invest in it.  Cool

I've had the same problem with verification e-mail using gmail. But the digitalcoin.co forums have been down for me since Crypto Ave. opened.
Haven't been able to get it to load. Is there a problem at my end or in general ?

You need to set an exclusion in your AV to allow access to digitalcoin.co forums. It's been flagged as a bad web page.

Webpage server IP is something like *50.21.183.100*.

now its time to represent digitalcoin in http://cryptocurrencyconvention.com NYC conference

Some of us are creating physical products to sell and/or giveaway. To bridge the gap to DGC accetpance and usage.

Initial coin will be a 1oz silver coin.
They will be in Silver with a 'value of 500 DGC'.

My thoughts are now turning towards low value tokens with an expiry date for promotional giveaways.

For example 5 or 10 DGC on a cheap aluminium coin or even metallic looking plastic token. All funded coins with hologram and embedded privkey.

Nickel coins can also be created.

If we can get a WIF key import working on the exchange or qt program (without needing to enter debug commands to do this) to import the coins from the physical product then this could bring in new traders and certainly new account holders.

Anyone got any thoughts of this kind of thing for promotional activity.

We can and probably will produce these items in quantities starting in the 1000's

Who is the speaker for DGC? (ANDREW DAVIDSON)
I would love to see video record of that speak. Will it be recorded and availiable on youtube?
