Bitcoin has proven is really secure, it depends us in managing or keeping bitcoin how it. In bitcoin seems to have proven security of it, only we must be more careful in transactions, make decisions, and choose a trusted wallet and proven safety. Don't dirty or sloppy on using, indeed internet connection is prone to hackers but it depends on us to be carefull and more thoroughly to using internet connection i guess.

The only major threat I see to the security of bitcoin is the advent of quantum computers. It hasn't quite happened yet, although speculation is abound that it might someday soon. There is a very limited number of problems that today's "quantum computers" can solve faster than regular computers. Tomorrow might be a different story, though.

Yes of course bitcoin safe because of the private key that is only known by the user only. In addition there are already kiptografinya rules which can make bitcoin owners can avoid the risks. But we must be vigilant because sometimes we do carelessness that causes bitcoin that we have lost.

Well, in its own respect yes and no. The main limitation to bitcoin's safety is the computer / server the coins are stored in. Bitcoin is only as secure as your computer is, nothing less.
Still, the most secure ways to store bitcoin are to buy a hardware wallet, such as a Ledger wallet or Trezor. This will make sure that the private key that you have will only be yours, and not controlled by someone else. That is the biggest problem with online wallets, they are in control of your private keys. Meaning that if they get hacked, all the keys might be compromised.

there are plenty on options if we really talk about the wallet or exchanges to secure bitcoin. i donot think that they are unsave or unsecure ar there are chances of it to being hack. different exchanges provide you different security option which you take to secure your wallet.

Blockchain technology is really a secure transaction network for bitcoin transactions due to that ever btc add has an encryption ability to hid from attackers who hack the system. Maybe you are asking how secure is the currency of bitcoin as an investment, well I tell you risk is always there in every investments but I tell you that bitcoin's journey has gone more challenges but it remained secure as a reliable investment so far even though it's a volatile type of currency.

I think it is secure as long as:

1) You don't keep your bitcoins in exchange
2) You keep them in cold storage
3) You don't have viruses
4) You aren't dumb and keep your codes safe.

All these hacks usually happens in online exchanges, so i wouldn't recommend you to keep more than 0.5 bitcoin there, unless you trade often.

Ya buddy you are right. Following some basic steps make bitcoin safest among any other Altcoin. So just use some simple security system like finger print sensor. Even the password may be a alpha numeric or Your name or your fiance name even may be your mom name.Take to make the password which not found by anyone to made bitcoin safest.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention fingerprint scanner, though this is used mostly for phone wallets which aren't that safe as paper wallet for example. I guess they are good as long as you don't have a lot of bitcoins there.

I also agree with password, it is not that hard to make good strong one - just type random letters and numbers and write them down on paper so that you wouldn't forget. It is better to have harder and longer password than short one.

I know much more cases of hacking of Bank cards than bitcoin wallets. Not going to tell you how to hack a credit card, but believe me it's very easy to do. You can safely haworthii at observance of safety rules of using a computer bitcoin safer than a credit card.

no one in the world who can hack bitcoins network or be found issue on bitcoins network,
although bitcoins network will become dangerous if many supers computers be used by the people

Well if there is a security breach within the blockchain system I think that would be only Satoshi and satoshi wasn't really intended something like that to happen because that could possibly broken the bitcoin system, and right now bitcoin had reach so many years right now and just look at the price and for that long bitcoin have still goes with it's composure.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Well, you are asking this question because you introduced the bitcoin to your family and all family are asking same question.

But i believe on bitcoin than i have good earning from bitcoin.
However I only say to you, that bitcoin is worldwide crypto currency and it have spend a long period with full of secure.

Bitcoin is really secure in terms of our identity because bitcoin doesn't require us to put our personal information to just execute a good transaction where it is really happening in the regular currencies that we have which is very prone for bad things to happen like identify theft and many more. Bitcoin is really secure and that is why investing in bitcoin is a good choice especially if you are really into long term.

The current cypto algorithm is safe before the application of quantum computers, which will be many years later. But before that happens the community will update the cypto algorithm for sure.  Cheesy

I agree with you . We don't need to give personal information to confirm on Bitcoin because everything on Bitcoin is anonymous and the Bitcoin system has a lot of layers of security, which will make investors feel more secure.
