I think a healthy amount of skepticism is warranted here considering the radio silence from the devs. I've been following the thread since shortly after the second airdrop and it seems with a lot of people its either a flat out scam or this will be the greatest coin in the history of cryptocurrencies. Not much middle ground. We need to wait and see. Some sort of official update or something would be nice though to get things rolling but I can completely understand that things take time.

It's 1000 ETHD for the masternode correct?? If so, I'm a little over half way there 

it is but the tokens are going to half in the future so you need 2000 of these tokens per 1k masternode in the future

I like this trend! Especially the (actual) 18th place in the "Biggest Gainers"-list of coinmarketcap. It will have a tradevolume of 1,000,000/day in next 12 hours, i think.

A fake coin hits 1.15$? I dont think so. This project just needs further development and additional exchanges.

I think the support for this coin is impressive. However, I've got some personal remarks to share, without wanting to FUD nor hype nor pump nor dump or anything. Feel free to add your thoughts of course!

If you are buying this coin at 27k (and it seems some of you still are), you really don't understand this coin at all.

The facts are: there's this 'dark' coin called ETHD which at this point has only pure speculative value for the simple reason that there's no clear project (yet). There's no decent whitepaper (yet), there's some vague anonymity claims, there's a dev who is online sometimes, and who sometimes is not available at all, and further on A LOT OF HYPE. This is NO reproach whatsoever, but a simple fact.

Apparently, 2 more airdrops will be organized in the near future, which will make the value coin go down (in the beginning).

So in short, I'm lucky and thankful to have received ETHD in the airdrops and I'm holding, so I hope that makes clear I BELIEVE IN THIS COIN. And as I said in the first sentence of this message: the support is IMPRESSIVE and I respect the dev deeply for that. But honestly, at this point, holding is the only option for those who have ETHD and waiting is the only option for those who don't have ETHD (yet), because there is NO REASONABLE explanation as why to invest in it at this moment and NO CLARITY AT ALL where this is going, and the value going up right now is plainly ridiculous.

My friend, i think the point is, what ETHD has only 4,2 mills of total Supply, as Decred or Zcach. So, the price goes to €50 mark (after a year or two, depends of dev's plans), imho.

I had a problem syncing as well. You may want to create a ".CONF" file of current nodes. The list of nodes and hints on how to do it are in this forum. Finding it may take a little bit of reading. Try around page 125?

i have it too now but when the halving of the coins or what was described in first white paper happens i wont have enough

I just finished buying 2K ETHD. I was only planning on buying 1K and after I read the white paper, I realized that it wouldn't be enough. So I found a little extra money and I bought another 1K. I wish I had bought more when the price was cheaper. It's beginning to get expensive.   I honestly would like the price to drop back down below $1 for a few days because I really want to buy some more. The wallet is great and ETHD is probably the best staking coin that I've ever seen. This coin is definitely going to the moon. I just wish that I had more.

i know the price will go down to some level during the third and the forth airdrop, i am planning to buy then, coz i believe the coins will be cheaper then, am waiting.

This. I'll be waiting with my money to buy when the prices soar after the airdrops (If they ever happen). For all we know DEV's are enjoying the price increase and are stalling the airdrop so they can dump at this moment before it goes back to $.70

I doubt if there is anybody in this forum that can answer that your question effectively apart from the coin dev and the close associate member of the team, the only positive message from the dev is that everybody should be patient and that every applicant shall receive their coin but no one can tell about when.

This coin is created by amateurs using the famous Ethereum  name ! There is no whitepaper, there is no road map, there is no team, just a shady developer. It's a clear scam, but the problem is that when greedy and stupid noobs hear just a name of something famous they jump on it without making any research. This is the clear example how the stupidity and greediness are making scammers reach !

Mate there is nothing that proves what you're saying, only speculations.
This coin's age is like 1 month (more or less). So it's normal that the updates are so short.
Let's wait for the New White Paper & you can then make a logical decision.

People were saying it's fake since day one (when it was like 10 cent worth, now it broke the $1.20 !!! this isn't something fake, people are getting involved with this coin, it's too early & unfair to make a final decision & call it scam just like that.
