Hi,

pools are not working

ok Amsterdam Pool seems to be fixed...

I'm going watch it for a bit longer then move the code to the other servers.

Sry Im going on 36hrs no sleep getting a little buggy...

There are LOT of miners that that did not even come close to getting what they should have gotten.

I will sort it and you WILL get every coin owed.. just gonna need to write something a little custom to deal with history.

His giveaways are a tiny percentage of his premine.

If the price goes up he will offload loads of coin and laugh all the way to bank.

They are giving away 3-5% a week it seems to me. Not sure if it is a good idea to give away more in the start, but Im sure that could be disccussed.

Anyways, you make a good point and the best solution would probably be to put the premined coins in escrow with someone who is only releasing them when they are needed for givaways. Hope the Phenix guys could comment on if they would be willing to do something like that.

I think I'll just take some of the premined coins for free and let others mine the new ones.

my miner still can't connect to asmterdam server Sad

I use this address : http://amst01.phenixpool.com:9500  (it was working this morning)
Also noted that the "getting started" page now indicates this address : ash01.phenixpool.com  (which my miner does not like neither)

sry about that, I started working on issue in Ashburn, but it was not busy enough to get data fast enough so i took what I had so far and moved it to Amsterdam.

I will correct the page and look at connection issue. I've been messing around a fair bit...

This is the ENTIRE point.  These new coins last days or weeks, this coin is no different.

In a weeks time if this coin happened to get some support what do you think he is going to do with some of this 900,000 coins he still has?

What would you do the price goes up abit?  You would sell coins, lots of coins.

The guy can just keeping selling some coins when ever price moves up a little, then buy some back if needed when it drops.

He was 1,000,000 coins ffs, he needs to give a away a huge percentage of what he has and very soon, or you guys are going to get taken for another ride.

One more suggestion to the dev team. Please put the info about the premined coins on your phenixcoin.com site and in the OP and explain why they have been premined. It will look a lot more credible if you are up front with this instead of people finding out through reading the thread.

Yes, i think more need to be given away at the begining to give more confidence, i'd suggest a 150k coin reward to the person who can make a great casino app for android and iphone and i mean great app.

Also is the retarget diff on this is quite slow right? don't want another cnc ftc issue.

900000x coins at china coins current rate of 0.00083/BTC.  = 747 BTC

747 BTC's = $84,903.27

Now you don't think he's dump off a load if the price gets to .0002 btc?

200,000 coins at .002 BTC = 400 BTC = $45459

You guys be crazy is you think hes not going to dump a load of coins lols

You think hes little poker site is going to stop him from taking a quick $100,000 profit if he gets the opportunity.  (Hint: Thats his plan)

You have a point but if he gives out  200k for some more great apps to be built on android and iphone then i think he is 100% serious. I think the poker is cool if it was on android and iphone a lot more people would be taking notice of this coin.

The diff target adjust should be after every block if possible but not sure if he can change that now or not, but make it a much smaller block amount. I am sick of waiting hours for my ftc to transfer.
