Also, switching the rules on masternodes probably caused the large decline in price. While I understand the move, people currently holding large amounts of Linda had expectations based on the rules at the time of their purchase. I like the broad ideas behind the project. I'll keep following its progress.
I agree.
It's an enormous error. I am not fully sure that it was decided together with nodemasters. It's absolutely clear that some people en route to get full nodes decided to remain
on hold. Before the collapse of the collateral, the team should find a way to conserve big nodes. If they do not, there will be no more incentive go over the modified price of modified masternode (MMNs)
The issue of MN collateral collapse should be fixed together with the nodemasters: From 22, I do already know 4 who were surprised, because never involved.
It is also an error to give an external date, independently of the situation of the project. The calendar should only indicate when the program starts: The first precondition. This should be the first moment, not the deadline.
The team can still do that. For instance, decide which internal condition should be required.
I think that the
other preconditions should be:
- Block number. ( prevents of massive attacks by a small number of people )
- Price of Linda ( Prevents massive attack from very rich people ). I would say 1 $ is the good guess.
- Staking seniority. This would also reward the people who are really trusting in Linda, the ones who did not sell. They have just to wait:
They will have a MMN AND, nice to have, be millionaire. This is a cumulative condition. It could happen before the end of 2018, more probably during 2019. The reward by PoS will facilitate the entry for the people who trust in Linda.
