Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
Maybe in the future. But there'll be more years to come before this thing happen. Since Bitcoin is not yet known to some countries and it still, has no physical value. Also, it is not yet legal to most countries. It'll also be difficult because Bitcoin is an open source system and is decentralized. But ine thing's for sure, we may expect for Bitcoin's growth for the next years.

Yes i think digital currency is the future of currency instead of paper money, If on think about bitcoin for last couple of months BTC become too much famous and get a great value that was not before mostly big companies big brands starts to accept bitcoin that create a great hype and make the bitcoin price and demand increase, So these are the reasons that makes bitcoin strong.

Even though bitcoin get a massive attention and become stronger from time to time, it doesn't mean that bitcoin can be used as a currency moreover to replace paper money. There are a bunch of thing which will halt such thing to happen. Digital currency is unstable and no authority can control it.

yes I agree with you even though digital currencies are now increasing in popularity but to replace the function of paper money completely I think it is impossible,
because in addition to unstable and the absence of financial authority to overcome it, and with decentralization of the system contained in bitcoin raises the government's suspicion of money laundering criminality.

i dont think so, digital curency will remain digital and online its because physical money is still a lot effiecient and easier to use compared to digital money, all people in all ages can use physical money and buy stuffs instantly but not on the digital money and digital money seems hassle because you need to access it online verytime you make purchase or buy something.  overall  i still choose and prefer to use the fiat money over bitcoin or any form of digital currency.

It might happen but it will be in the far future which nobody knows but when government comes into the space then I see timeline being moved up drastically but at the same time, people wont be forced to abandon their way of life all of a sudden especially the senior citizens but for youths then popularity is on the high side.

But when we will be senior citizen we will accept digital currencies far easier than current senior citizens,

So I strongly believe that crypto will fully replace paper but in 30+ years, maybe even later

It can but it may take time cause paper money is stable than digital or crypto currency. If crypto currency manages to become more stable it can replace paper money without an issue.

I agree. It will take time for all countries to accept digital cryptocurrency and for them to become stable. And then may be crypto will replace paper money.

Talking about stability....

nothing is stable, just look at the stock prices, oil/gold etc.
Cryptos are no more different than those in term of stability. The biggest difference is that they are not regulated atm.

It will happen if all country accept cryptocurrency
But i gues even after all country accept cryptocurrency fiat currency will still be the main payment way than cryptocurreny because it was more easy to use and it's price was more stable but that was not mean it's will never happen.

We can say yes or no because we both need the bitcoin currency and paper money. Both is not stable so we cannot say what will happen anytime.

day by day virtual currency or crypto currency is getting popular across the world. in the developed countries, it has been accepted in terms of many purposes. so people are also using it for thier daily life.

but paper money is totally different from digital currency. it has a great influence on the people. people still have a faith in using paper money.
I don't think that digital money will be the replacement of paper money very soon because of acceptability and availability.

If the entire usage of bitcoin and paper money is calculated, all that getting into majority is the paper money. Even a common man without knowledge will use paper money, which is not that possible with bitcoin. Certain amount of knowledge is a must to use it, and this makes both grow mutually but replacing won't take place.

I think that will not happen because paper money has a physical form and digital currencies has not and only data but they have both the same function as currency. Paper money is easy to buy without hustle than the cryptos but I think it is not possible in the future when just don't know if it is happen.

I don't think so, we will have both physical and digital currency in the future but not a replacement

But there is a demand of instant transactions and physical currency may not be able to fall into that category.
but still you will be needed physical currency in any case we cant avoid that there's still a place without electricity so how can you pay them with your digital
money? I'm quite positive and also looking for this but there's a lots of things that we need to consider before we can justify this matter.

Yes true that, it also depends on how technologies evolve, it will decide the way human interact with money.
