I think the paper money cannot be replaced. Cash is invented by the state to regulate and control the market economy. The appearance of digital currency can only be said to be a trading method that changes with the progress of the times. It cannot replace paper money.

I certainly think digital money will replace paper money.Because paper money is too primitive compared to the digital money.Digital money is your future technology.
Digital money is too volatile. If they replace conventional paper money, the economy of any country will collapse. In digital money, for example, in bitcoin, one can not plan economic development indicators and monitor the economy. If today one bitcoin price, tomorrow it is substantially different, and the day after tomorrow either rose sharply or fell sharply, this will lead to its complete unbalancing, it is impossible to joke with such things.

Personally, I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
I think the digital currency can replace paper currency. Because from year to year technological developments more rapidly and surely in the future later it all depends on technology. Maybe in the future, we all do transactions online.

In my own personal opinion I don't think digital money would entirely replace paper money. Yes most people in the world are using cryptocurrency as form of payment, investment, buying digital products etc. But we also know the fact that not all people do have power and internet connections, those people that is not aware and cannot use technology and doesn't have interest on it will continue to use paper money.

If we talk about crypto and paper money it's not about who will stay alive, because they are for different tasks. Untill there are people on Earth, they would always need a touchable, energy-free and off-line equivalents, like paper money, gold, diamonds, whatever. Crypto is a strongest threat to Visa/Mastercard/AmEx and whole centralised financial system as well. It happens because of fantastic success of cryptocurriencies during all last years. So I would rather belive that cryptocurrencies will replace  digital currency and bank centralised system.

Sure, society is increasingly dependent on technology, there's no reason money can not replace paper money, but to replace paper money, I think it will take a very long time to To do that, you need a strong community

Hello everybody. I think that the digital currency will necessarily replace "paper money". Progress is proceeding at a tremendous pace, - digital technologies replace outdated ones. Finance, this is one of the areas that should be radically improved. Digital money can make a revolution in the field of money relations. Although, completely replacement will not happen very soon.

I don't think that digital currency can completely replace the currency of paper currency. The currency of currency has its irreplaceable advantages. It will not be replaced at least in the short term. Many people do not understand even smart phones.

For me yes there's a possibility that digital currency will ever replace paper money because as of now it is so popular and many people are using this for paying some bills. For me it's better if they accept both digital currency and paper money because there's few people that doesn't have a digital currency.

I think this is possible in the future. After all, technology is growing faster and faster. People basically hold a smart phone in their hands. The problem of counterfeiting of banknotes has also existed, which has undermined the principle of people's good faith transactions. But digital currency can better solve this problem, so digital currency is likely to replace cryptocurrencies in the future.

For me I think that it will replaced the paper money in the future. Technology are becoming more advanced as the years goes by and we are also becoming dependent on it so I believe that theres a big chance that paper money will replaced by digital currencies. And I think that using digital currecncies is more safer and its more faster in transactions process. It will adopt by countries that are very advanced in terms of technology in the near future.

It is impossible to say that bitcoin can completely replace the paper money. We will need a lot of time and effort to do that. Can not deny the wonderful gadgets that bitcoin bring, but in my opinion, we should still use parallel paper money and digital currency

For me I think that the future money would be digital and the paper money or Fiat would be gone.
I think that we would see a cashless society in the future.

Digital currency is still not feasible to replace paper money. Why? Because globally people still use paper money to transact, although now little by little some banks have introduced a money-saving card, of course, that is digital that serves to civilize people to switch to digital money. However, it is also not very efficient because people are still comfortable with paper money so as to replace the digital currency notes is a difficulty that some digital money service developers have to cope with.

I still doubt whether the digital currency will forever replace the paper money. I think in its use people will definitely prefer to use digital currency. because it is easier and do not need ribet bring much money. but if forever replacing paper money I do not think so. paper money will still exist. only its use will be reduced because people are more interested in digital currency.

Then, as the digital currency wants to soon control the authorities and intervene in its system, the bitcoins will soon be paper.

Will cryptocurrency replace fiat money of governments? Unlikely. But digital money replace paper money in near future. In ten years I think.

there is no doubt that paper money has lot of weaknesses such as inflation, printed cost,... and certainly crypto is the future currency. However, at this moment, there are some legality problems need to be solved before.
