The COLX Dev-Team announced today that the planned COLX Coin Burn will take place tomorrow.

After a successful Coin Burn the Team will be able to pay the Cryptopia fee to get COLX listed.

We're expecting to see COLX on Cryptopia in the following days or weeks. Stay tuned!

Did you restart your wallet after modifying the file?  It will need to load what you just added.

yes did multiple times but theres no way to make it connect. also chkd windows firewall, all rules are set properly
edit: wallet is empty but i guess it needs to connect before i can move colx inside

My wallet took a while to connect too - how long did you try?  Let it run overnight and see what happens.

ok will try, left it open for about an hr at most but no luck.

If I remember correctly mine took several hours to get a connection on one computer but then connected right away on another.  Give it a while.

THAT WORKED

thanks everybody

Yes, everybody is working very hard to get COLX listed on more and bigger exchanges and it will happen very soon now. Unfortunately it's not as easy as it may sound to get a new coin listed on an exchange.

i.e. The team did a crowdfunding campaign in December and raised the 2.2 (and that was a special half price offer!) Bitcoin fee to get listed on Cryptopia, and everybody is now sat on tenterhooks waiting for it to go live! This will be the next major step forward for COLX and will give it its next big boost up towards the moon ...and this is what everybody is currently so excited about right now.

So our best advice to everybody right now is to 'Buy the Dips'... and do everyone who you know and love a massive favour and tell them to; BUY SOME COLX NOW!

And, just like me, you'll be receiving lots of lovely emails just like I have been...  (y)  Share our COLX blessings NOW!!

Hi iam Terry a very old friend of Petes and ive made near on $2k in 2 weeks starting with less than £200 with the help of Pete. I'am hooked now on studying crypto news. Thanks pete!!

Hi Pete:
Looks like Cryptocurrency is taking a front row seat in the media.  I’ve been doing a lot
more research and inquiries.
Presently there is: 429389.21 COLX and valued at: $ 6,495.00 per thousand.  I’m figuring about $2800.00.
Very many thanks! Lenny

Not quite sure how he's calculating that, so I had great pleasure in telling him that his 429,389.21 COLX is currently worth $4,909.20! So he should be even more delighted!   Smiley

So, as I said above...

...do everyone who you know and love a massive, massive favour and tell them to; BUY SOME COLX NOW!

Then enjoy a truly COLOSSUS 2018!

The COLX 'ZERO FEES' option isn't 'planned', it's already built in to COLX and is live now!

parnum
The transaction will only go through if a block is not full, as you're not providing a miner's fee. I don't know the throughput level of COLX, but with only a few transaction in the blocks that I had inspected, the blocks seem to have a lot of room left for zero-fee transactions.

In the future, if there is more transaction volume than the blockchain can handle, then getting zero-fee transactions through will take some time.

Yesterday my wallet has recieved its first payments from staking.... 4 payments in total since. I am  impressed I must say.

I was planning on selling a large portion of colx to fund another project, but I didnt realize the payments would be so often. I am definitely reconsidering holding on to this.

This cant be right. I have a hard time believing payments will be that often at that amount. If that is true that pretty much makes it impossible to sell at this point.... would be stupid to.

I wonder if I am just recieving back pay or something. Or maybe the payment is somewhat uneven throughout the week/month/year and not 3 times a day like yesterday.

Because if I continue to recieve what I recieved yesterday I would be stupid to sell....

Not trying to spam the page.... will be my last post for awhile, just trying to wrap my head around this.

I have some stupid questions (again) I hope someone who is more knowledgeable can help me out here.

Q1 - Does the amount of colx I receive through staking depend on the amount of colx I have in my wallet?
Q2 - If that is the case, does the amount of colx I receive gradually increase over time? (Since the colx that gets sent to the wallet increases my staking supply?)

Thank you.

Q1. YES!

Q2. YES!!  Smiley   It 'Compounds'...

COLX is the very latest POS3.0 and, yes, the rewards generated are directly proportional to the amount staked. Unfortunately you won't receive that amount every day currently, as coins have to 'mature' for 7 days once they have received a reward. This is why it is advisable to split larger amounts into smaller transactions within your wallet.

i.e. if you have 100,000 COLX and you just put it in your wallet and stake it, when it receives it's first reward then ALL 100,000 COLX coins are out of action for 7 days until they mature again.

So, instead, if you split the 100,000 into 10 x 10,000 transactions, using the splitting tool built in to the wallet, then, when you receive a reward for a 10,000 block, that then sits out for 7 days, but you still have the 9 x 10,000 blocks in play, waiting to receive their next reward.

So, in this way, you can maximise your returns from staking...

How to do this is explained fully in the long staking user guide here - Click Here

The even more exciting news is that the Devs are currently working on upgrading the current PoS3.0 Protocol to reduce the maturity time down from the current 7 days to just 8 hours which really will be the icing on the COLX cake!

Good luck!

And enjoy a truly COLOSSUS 2018!

How/Where can you find out when you have staked?  My first set of coins started staking last night and I was curious as to how I'll know when they have staked.

I can also verify that the zero fee transactions work.  I used it while splitting my stacks last weekend and it worked great!  And it was fast!!!  I love COLX!!!

I think COLX has a very bright future ahead. Soon it will be listed on Cryptopia and other big exchanges will soon follow and then everyone will like to hold some COLX. Like I see now, ALOT of people are sitting on their coins, cus they see the potential.
The demand will be much much higher than today. So buy now and 'HODL' (yeah I said hodl..) for at least 6-8 months and you can thank me later Smiley

The price depreciation is purely down to coinmarkets collective fuck up on their site. Coinmarkets accounts for about 40% of the day trading for COLX when working. So the inactivity on their site has locked out 40% of the buyers.
This being said, we seem to be at a steady 1cent, so im not worried at all!

I adviced all my friends/family/colleagues/ basicly everyone to atleast invest something in COLX.

I dont expect the burn will do much to the price at this moment, I believe it's value potential will go up (in the long run), since the demand have to increase for the value to do likewise.

Best thing to do in my opinion, is getting COLX listed on more and more exchanges, so more people will know about COLX.

What is the main benefit compared to other anonymous staking coins like XSPEC & NavCoin? To me all those projects (even the wallets, or especially the wallets) do look very similar, not to say like clones...

@pete898

Don't want to stop your eagerness, I'm sure you put a lot of effort trying to see the project succeed. However to be honest: posting mooning pictures and lambos are not helping the coin to get a better image. I would say it even scares potential and especially serious investors from stepping in.

Okay Palmenhorst... that's great then; you take over here answering all the support questions for the potentially 'Serious Investors'... And I'll get back to building my own business once again...

Pete is one of the most dedicated people from the COLX community, like you said it would be a loss if he stops trying.

I dont think 'mooning pictures and lambos' stop people from investing in a great coin.
