I actually didn't expect it to half. From the information given on the website I concluded, somewhat hasty one might say, that we already passed block 300,000 and the staking reward would no longer decrease. How is the staking reward calculated? The website says:

   PoS Rewards Breakdown

   Block Reward: Split dynamically via the Seesaw Reward Balance System between masternodes and staking nodes

   Blocks 10,81 – 151,200: 2500 COLX
   Blocks 151,201 – 302,399: 1250 COLX
   Blocks 302,400 – Infinite:  1000 COLX
   Proof of Stake Schedule:   5% to proposals for all phases
   95% distributed to stake wallet and master node


So the masternodes get 60% of 1250 COLX and the staking nodes get 40%?
1250 COLX * 0.4 * 0.95 - fee = 473.2199852

And the staking reward will half one more time at block 302,400?

I guess I found the answer.

After watching the price continue to slide over the last week I thought I'd better come back and start promoting COLX again before it gets back to Zero!!   LOL  35% down since that other guy was meant to take over the job of promoting it here... but not sure he actually did anything apart from complain about my 'Lambos & Moons' ...and, judging by the 35% drop, he obviously never managed to convince any of his 'Serious Investors' to invest anyway... maybe they weren't that serious afterall...

So let's get this show back on the road again and watch this baby start to fly again...

Colossus has gone through some turbulent days and has experienced its first real correction. The weak hands are naturally selling there COLX coins currently.

Hello my friend and excellent words of wisdom there and nothing really more I can add to that... Apart from the masternode rewards have just halved from 1,425.6 to 712.8 so that increaces the scarcity of COLX and will again push the price up.

COLX corrected back to 1 cent and should be back on the rise again now next week in readiness for the next big climb up when the Cryptopia listing finally goes live...

So you'll never get another chance to buy COLX at this low price ever again and I've been busily buying up all I can from all those who are silly enough to sell...

Is it possible to reduce through an update transaction fixed fee of 10 COLX? I think it's the only bad thing about coin, driving the price low too.

The reward just halved last night to 1250, split between masternodes and stakers. Around May the reward will *not* halve again but decrease slightly to 1000 COLX. So, scarcity has been implemented and will reduce further later this year, but not by as much.

I'm an 80s baby and growing up in the 90s, my favorite cartoon was X-Men. I'd watch the X-Men marathon every weekend, had a little X-Men backpack (which I still have btw ), and later in life I started collecting the comic books.

One of my favorite characters was Colossus. Why? I was (and still am) a short guy and I was always impressed with how Colossus used to tower over everyone, standing tall, crushing through everything, made of steel.. just plain powerful.

Damn, great competition.

Why do i LOVE COLX ? Just because i was a coin which suddelny came on my way in the cryptoworld. It stated for me in june 2017. I invested a little money in CV2 and was following everything on social media. When i talked about it on a party to other people the looked at me if  i was crazy.

But these No coiners, they are crazy. Then the swap started to COLX, the price was extremely low and people kept asking: and still in the crypto?... You should invest in real estate much more profitable en secure.

Then i started with staking coins, MAN that is great, even the no coiners looked at me when i showed the results. Even better then real estate ;-)
And the december/januari bull run was there, every no coiner is currently owner of COLX :-) Slapping my shoulder and talking like they are in the crypto industry for years.

So why do i love COLX? Just because i can make other people enthusiastic about it an becoming a partner in a great privacy coin with a lot of opportunities.
