Yes this is more likely to happen because of the standard and expectation is there for a crypto and with this they are expecting that other crypto as well will be a successful one. With this Bitcoin will be an expectation and a standard or a role model for every other cryptocurrencies out there existing because of the main reason of it is the very first crypto.
hmm.. Good point you have there man. It is true that bitcoin is the role model of all altcoins or is the one that people look at to generalize crypto the crypto world(at least the newbies and the ones who have no idea how things work here yet). Obviously, seeing bitcoins die will really spark a lot of intrigue and might lead to the demise of the crypto world as a whole. Just like how bitcoins pull every altcoin up with it, it can also pull every altcoin down with it. But even so, I think that the fall of bitcoin will not be the end of the crypto world(depending on the reason why it died of course). I think that the prices will just be down for a period of time and then rise up again as a new coin takes the king's throne. That is how I see it. |

It will depend, the value of bitcoin cannot be directly said to be related to any particular altcoin, but they do have the same structure, so it might be that if the community looses faith on bitcoin and crypto in general, the altcoin may also lose its value. Bitcoin was the first of its kind, all altcoins are basically derived from that same structure, but any one altcoin might just stand out due to its unique qualities, and even if bitcoin loses its value, that altcoin might not, but its doubtful that people will lose faith in the first of its kind and support something else that came much later and basically copies the first one.

There would be 2 aspects, it might die or not die as well. From the first scenario.,its the main king of crypto currency and many other coins have come into instance only with the blockchain technology, so I am less concerned with its invalidity and more worried about its existence in the present world. In case of its death, I see many other coins also losing their value except for coins which will also expire slowly. So it's the main existence which is required.

Of course not,Bitcoin and altcoin is a swing event.We can't say that if bitcoin goes the length of altcoin wil go beside as adroitly back there's no association surrounded by the two.Maybe we could regard as creature the possibility of bitcoin being dominated by the added crypto currency such as altcoin,ethereum and etc to the fore those currency are rivals in the world of digital currency. What i'm bothersome to make known is if bitcoin dies,there would be a replacement which mostlikely coming from the added crypto.

I don't know if it is possible that bitcoin will die in the next few years, but i think when bitcoin dies it would also affect the other alternate coins, because mostly those were based on bitcoin itself and just the difference are just the uses and their purposes, but still as what like others said, it depends to what is the reason on the bitcoin's extermination.

Nothing is sure you sage, if the market had wanted to remove bitcoin, disappear is what will happen, bitcoin can not resist the market demand, so the dead bitcoin is the thing that can happen, we should not be too surprised about this. And if bitcoin is dead, altcoin will continue to exist because the market is having many altcoins potentially replacing bitcoin in the future, altcoin that most potential will fill the position of Bitcoin, the market will have some chaos when a great king disappears but it will soon stabilize |

Altkoins are directly dependent on bitcoin. When bitcoin falls, the altcoins also fall. Altkoins begin to grow only when bitcoin after lifting is delayed at one level and becomes more stable. Then the altcoyins are drawn to it. But the fall of altcoyins is almost always associated with the fall of bitcoin, often even as much as bitcoin.

I don't think if bitcoin dies the rest of the family will also die because some of the Altcoins have different features, advantages and anonymity implementation than bitcoin. Some coins categorize themselves as currency and some as an asset. So, you see because of that they don't serve the same purpose they both have their ways if you know what I mean. Bitcoin is like the father of the family and you know when the father dies the children will grow they won't die too |

I don't think so. We know how beneficial cryptocurrency are and no matter with the skiptism they can never stop the popularity of bitcoin or of any cryptocurrency for that matter. This has given so much chances for a lot of people all over the world the chance to have a better and comfortable life. Also with the technology that we have it is just logical to say if cryptocurrency will die so is the internet or technologies and so are the big conglamirates who now rely entirely to the technology and internet. So it's just logical to say that if cryptocurrency will die so is technology and internet that it will disappear in the face of the planet and we live without civilization. |

Bitcoin is like the father of the family and you know when the father dies the children will grow they won't die too Each alts project intended to replace or to back up bitcoin lapses, so just in case bitcoin completely falls, there's another option to move forward, each project have its own offers, most of the quality and real alts create uniqueness, though each of them really relied with the current bitcoin value, who knows after some year one of them will jump high and replace bitcoin, future is not ours to predict let just wait and see if what will happen after. |

I think not, because they are completely different on technology, team and purpose but some coins would really lose a lot of value and credibility because people generalized cryptocurrencies at bitcoin so if bitcoin dies maybe alot of investors would lose confidence but eventually good technology coins will always bounce back and maybe someday make it to mass adoption.
