No, if Bitcoin die all other crypto currency  will not die.  That's why they are called alternative  currencies.  They exist as another coins which is independent  of bitcoin activities.  Though bitcoin movement  affect all other crypto currency  but not necessary  it can make it exit if it does.

Most likely all the Crypto currency is linked and depends on each other. If one thing happens, something is reflected in the other

If the bitcoin dies I think altcoin will also die because all altcoin tend to exchange it to bitcoin because in fact all altcoin depends and are subject to bitcoin so in the absence of bitcoin all altcoin would be meaningless

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
based on my observation its a big yes because when the bitcoin goes down the altcoins will go down to and actually theres a lot of altscoins will  go increase again if bitcoin will go up i dont know why it happen?maybe because of manipulation? so i think rich will become more rich and some people who gut fud they will loss by panic selling.

It is difficult to predict at this stage, but alternative bitcoin is unlikely to die, as some analysts predicted.

I'm not really sure what will happen to altcoins if bitcoin dies but maybe if bitcoin dies other altcoins just find a way to keep going and keep themselves and their coins releveant without having to rely on bitcoin

bitcoin is unlikely to "die" due to its immense first mover advantage..  too many big boys are inside bitcoin to let it die.

however, even if bitcoin were to die, i think the really strong altcoins will rise up and take over a huge portion of the total market cap

I think it doesn't really need to die at all, if it does a fall and perish by some unknown or
well known reason, altcoins would take over. But I assimilate bitcoins is still alive and
kicking, if it does decline I'll assume it will always have a worthy successor. Bitcoins
legacy and influence will alway resonate with existing and upcoming currencies today
and the future. Ethereum is the most likely one to take over, but I think bitcoins will
have another fork if it does die. Bitcoin's technology open doors, I think it's not in the
business or interest to close anytime soon.

yeah you are right, and there may be some dead and some others will survive through cryptocurrency without bitcoin, such as ethereum and ripple will survive in the absence of bitcoin

For me its unlikely that the ALTCOIN will die.
First i think that bitcoin will never die. Maybe in the future there will be a time  that the bitcoin will become rare that its circulation will decrease but it will not totally disappear.
One thing i know and we also all see that almost all ALTCOINS greatly suffer when the value of bitcoin drops. Because almost all altcoin depended the value of it to bitcoin. So for me ALTCOIN will only suffer but it is still usable in exchange.

Probably your statement is true but majority of the altcoins are dependent on the bitcoin market. Thus, when bitcoins value falls down almost all of the altcoins market is also down. If you notice earlier when bitcoins value went down all of the cryptocurrency market is in bloodbath or colored red. This means that if bitcoin will fall down all of the altcoins will go down along with it.

I am not familiar what an altcoin is, where altcoin is used, and how altcoin was used. But in my own opinion, bitcoin will not die when altcoin dies because bitcoin has it's own value. Bitcoin doesn't depends on other coin to rise it's value

Bitcoin is the crypto king and sometimes the prices of altcoins may be affected by its decline, alts are however independent and may not follow the suit when BTC's prices  falls

not necessarily, as time goes by the other cryptos are becoming more independent

but the market is still young and more prone to manipulation

the right regulation will help stabilize the market and grow even without bitcoin!
