GET-Protocol is Netherelands only? In that case they won't be competing with EventCahin in any possible way. As far as I know Eventchain will start operating in US markets

Yes, that's where they started and where they are focusing. But they might expand to other countries in the future, without specifying which ones in particular. If Aventus and EventChain beat them to it in other regions GET-Protocol will only be a marginal threat.

Really thought it would go faster this ICO.
Maybe it wasnt such a good timing with all that China FUD

I still believe in this project and this one will succeed!
Keep it up team! Keep marketing this project.

The reason for this is probably the fud in the market after the price-dip of eth.

On the other hand it's now a good moment to invest. You get more EVC for your fiat than some days ago.

Its a good opportunity for fiat holders if they want to join Eventchain. The Asia market is really huge, and ticketing market work great in Asia countries, like in Japan for exemple or in China. The partnership with iFlyer will help to develop the market in theE counties for sure. A mobile client could be a great features, but the platform developpement is the priority

would be nice if we have article shows difference between aventus, TX and Eventchain. make easy for everyone to see

Another competitor is the GET-Protocol, who are already using their solution successfully.
ICO coming up.
I don't think that GET-Protocol can threatten EventChain. Even if this is true, whole ticketing industry have enough room for Event GET and others

GET-Protocol? What a Google-unfriendly name. Looks like they focus on the Netherlands.

In that case the iFlyer partnership gives EventChain a clear advantage. Japan has a lot more citizens than the Netherlands.

Guts Ticketing is already trying to target the dutch market, interesting to see how that turns out.

Edit: just found out GUTS is initiator and first user of the GET protocol, my bad!

It really is admirable the idea of starting in a country like Japan, and, of course, partnerships that allow greater access to large entertainment networks. Sony partners in this segment will be reached I think

Great idea! We have long been in need! Flights without extra charges are very good)

Does this project has anything to do with flight ticketing? Not that I read from the whitepaper.

Maybe we can see a spinoff project from eventchain team  Grin

No, they won be offering flight tickets, dont know why people are writing this.
This is totally different area and would be extremely hard to get partnership with air companies.

How is live music scene in Japan? I only know something from the past, like Deep Purple @Budokan, Black sabbath @Budokan etc...(yes Budokan arena was a hard rock / metal temple)

Well there are concerts etc, also some western bands, but mainly Japanese and other famous East Asian bands. But western music get's more and more adapted recently, at least that's my impression so far.

I don't know much about the music scene in Japan but in the video where they announced the partnership with iFlyer it was mentioned that iFlyer already held events for more than 85.000 artists, including famous ones like Coldplay, Avicii or David Guetta. Even if these numbers represent iFlyers international business you can see the potential in this parnership. A good start of EventChain in Japan could easily open the doors for an global success.

Yes, the famous ones are also in Japan, like they are nearly everywhere Cheesy There are of course a lot of events and concerts in Japan and it has a big potential in my eyes. Especially if you see the East Asian market where Korea and Japan is influence each other with music etc.

Is this a legit ico? "42% discount" sounds strange. Why would they sell so cheap if it's a good product?

That is pre ico, other projects even have 50% discount, and I even saw nimfamoney having their presale at 97% discount XD, lost that opportunity ¬¬, anyway, yes, this is a legitimate ICO, so don't worry, they have already some partnerships even Cheesy.

Funding is happening slower than expected.

It's an amazing project with too much promising possibilites. I think at some point investors would see that. That china things timing didn't help also.

Presale discount is a normal thing. It's a way to attract initial investors which are always hard to convince.
Once you have a good amount of money others will run behind you because of those figures.
